I'd like to see any reasoning to how Kobe's overall will come out at a 98 and the Heat LeBron not be a 99 on the same scale. Going to have to compare those attributes.

Agreed. He's a fan favorite though so unfortunately 2K probably felt pressure from the fan base. A lot of fans on Twitter/Reddit are actually mad that he's not a 99.

Bicep band! Only thing off about that is #24 didn't wear it often (or at all). It's much more suited for #8.

Also, Pierce is a 94 people. Kobe is definitely a 98 based on whatever scale they've got there at 2K lol.

I'll have to see what Pierces actual ratings are, but from the surface a 94 seems pretty high. I would have guess lower, maybe tops at a 92. But realistically around a 90-91.

Magic wasn't exactly elite at defense or shooting the ball. He was ok at those things but not great.

Can make the same argument with Kobe and rebounding and passing compared to Magic.

My biggest issues with Kobe will be most his shooting stats will be nearly maxed.. He's really pretty average across the board on shooting. He scored a ton of points but took a ton of shots. He needs a maxed out microwave badge, tough shot badge, all of that for sure. But his ratings in those categories shouldn't be up there next to MJ's for example. But they will be.

He's actually even his better years 2008-11, compared to LeBron's 4 years with the Heat, a worse shooter at nearly every spot on the floor.

The LeBron disrespect is real with 2k. The company is based out of northern California so maybe that is a factor.

09 - current LeBron is clearly better than prime Kobe. so If Kobe is 98 ........MJ/leBron should be a 99+ cause they were both clearly better players
