Capela looks great, but what's up with those football jersey sized numbers? Look way too big

I think the number size looks accurate. I think Nike made them bigger than last year. Google some of these new jerseys and you'll see they're actually pretty accurate (number sizes, at least).

2k thankfully got rid of the high school body types, and has now blessed us with 14 year old girl waistlines.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but this looks so bad.

I'm sure next year they'll go in the other direction and give every player Rex Ryan waistlines.

If Gobert is an 88, then some of these other guys who are barely ahead of him need a bump.

                Spoiler
I have a gut feeling the slim waist has to do with them trying to accommodate to make the legs slimmer, instead of actually "fixing" the players' vertical length. If you shrink the entire lower body, it'll give the illusion of more vertical length. Initially I thought KD was "fixed" with the curry/durant screenshot, but the more I look at the shook trailer, it appears KD upper torso isn't long enough, and probably his legs should be longer. In addition Anthony Davis' legs also doesn't look long enough in the trailer.

When I have time, I'll probably post some comparison pictures.

First thing I noticed when I played Live 18's demo...the players actually had long legs. What a difference it makes.

That trailer shot of Davis crouching before doing a fadeaway is laughable. The players' legs are like 30% too short. My guess is it has to do with their initial mocap guys being like 6'4 dudes and basing all of the animations around that. Players from the waist up look great(apart from being a little too thin, KAT & Wiggins come to mind), but from the waist down, they look pretty bad.

That is not Justin Patton; must be a CAP. Everyone else looks good.

Yeah, the short lower extremities were very noticeable, especially for the taller players. Always been that way. I'm naively hoping it's not final build type stuff but who am I kidding.. I guess it's a consolation that, at least when they're standing straight up, guys like KD and them actually have their lengths well represented. I guess this is the usual 2k case of taking the bad with the good *again*

Why? Gobert is arguably the second beat defensive player in the league.

Gobert is probably underrated if anything. He was statistically better/more impactful than pretty much any other player rated between 88-90. Hayward, Lillard, Kyrie etc. He was 8th in the league in RPM. Had by far the best +/-'s on a team that won 50 games with a buttload of injuries. He def deserves an 88 at least.

Ha you misunderstood, I think they didn't rate enough ppl in the 60s.

It's very likely that in myleague either:

                                1. The generated draft classes are gonna be rated too low, and they're not going to mesh well with the rosters, or

                                2. The talent is going to be so dense that you're gonna only see teams win 50 games , and no teams lose 55+

                                Or both

                                It's not good for myleague
