    Have u tried off-ball go under for Aldridge? LA is a legitimate threat on perimeter shooting, I suspect AI may have the "go over" preset for offensive threat players like him. Sorry, i'm not sure if this setting is still in-place cos I havent gotten 18 yet :P

    On the other hand, I suspect LA could be doing some slip screen thingy, a new feature for 18. If the AI fell for it, and u set Soft or Hard Hedge on Kawhi, this could result in Taj's anticipation of a screen coming from his man - LA. I couldnt view the other side of the court where LA came from, so couldnt really tell if this was one of those old Spurs plays or a new play.

    Like what Strawberry mentioned, may be good to show yor video breakdown with no edits on the full play with full half court visibility, followed by slow mo like u did in the video.

    WTH, Tibbs, has a D in defensive rating, come on devs, Tibbs a excellent defensive coach. You give him a D, yet you give Dantoni, I think a B- or C in defense, when Danfony, should be a F, or no better than a D anyway. Between some of the coaches ratings, and player ratings, I have to wonder if those who decide these ratings actually have any knowledge about the NBA.

      I can't imagine what Dieng would have said in this instance. There's no reason for him to "hedge" like that, if that's what he's doing, I don't know.
      Dont use any ACE things like no threes etc.. and turn off ACE

      Set your defensive settings and go to options and turn on defensive communication they sometimes randomly switch so you will know what to do that should prevent your problem.
      2k18 fixes

      Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

      Late contest on laups matter too much.

      Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

      Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

                Not sure, but I know the devs are looking into it.

                A couple of things you guys need to look out for.

                Setting pre-rotate to on causes a defender to move across to defend the ball when it's on the wing. Ive seen some examples of this from people and it's clear theyve set pre-rotate to on.

                The new diagrams clear up a lot, and the screen help rules and drive help rules are important. By default, they seem to be set to auto so a guy driving either in iso/transition or off PNR will trigger rotations which of course means open dudes. If you want help and rotation, choose the worst shooter on the other team (Think Mbah a Moute, Roberson. If you are playing GSW...there is nothing that can be done) and set his off ball coverage to 'leave open'. Then you have a better chance of good shooters being defended.


                Help and no rotation for screen help rules/drive help rules will basically trigger help at the rim only.

                Getting your dudes to stay home more consistently will be helped by choosing 'no help', but be prepared for a lay up drill if your on ball D is shaky.

                I havent seen ACE in every situation against every team, that will come over the next few months. But we absolutely have the tools. Its fantastic.

                One thing I noticed is that ACE does make some decisions. For instance, I go over and drop back on screens as Im playing with the Mavs. I noticed that in late shot clock situations, ACE will change to 'switch' when Im defending PNRs which is typical of how damn good 2K is with minor details.
