Re: Inability to see attribute numbers on upgrade screen

And this game is supposed to be in esports and partner with nba?

Everything is camouflaged from attributes to badges to now what caps wil unlock when?

Honestly, this is starting to become embarrassing. I thought 2k was better than this but I guess they are just as bad as catdaddy on the mobile side of this game charging 20$ for a single card then releasing better cards thus devaluing all the ones you already bought.

At this point, I'm not even going to buy any VC the first month and if they don't fix these issues then I'll move on to something else.

Exactly. People are complaining but are saying they are still going to spend money anyways. That's the mindset that is ruining this franchise. (I hope some serious comp comes back as well)

I'll never support micro transactions in these full priced products. If more did the same companies Would stop jerking their customers

True. Go to park or pro-am with a 55-65 overall and get KILLED. Sounds about right lol. It's really not about buying VC imo. It's just being able to see attribute ratings. Those who earn VC will still have the same issue as those buying it. You'll be blindly spending VC on attributes and wont know what effect it will have on your player until you've spent it.

This is not about buying or not buying VC with real money. Each user can make that decision for themselfs.

It is about spending VC (earned EITHER by spending cash OR spending (alot) of time) without knowing what product you actually purchasing.

If that is acceptable for you, then your economic decision making process is very different from mine

Re: Inability to see attribute numbers on upgrade screen

If they just took using VC away from upgrading your player this problem is solved.

A system where you get good at what you do instead of upgrading attributes in areas you don't even use in order to reach 99 would be the most ideal situation...I'm assuming we will get there at some point.

Seems like 99% of the complaints here revolve around the fact people seem to be "forced" to buy VC instead of playing the game to become good.

I think it sucks that you can't see your attributes (from what we know)...I just don't see it as a major issue yall are making it out to be.

But again, I'm not the person who is looking to upgrade my player with the sole purpose to unlock overpowered moves and things of that nature.

The game isn't even out yet and I think I'm done with MyCareer already. Last year it took at least a few weeks until I was sick of grinding those gym visits. They're destroying their classic mode at a faster rate every year.

It's not all about "overpowered moves". Upgrading certain attributes sometimes has 0 effect on your player. Example Going from level 19 strength to level 20 strength doesn't move your ratings at all. It's been like that in the past. This results in wasting VC and wasting a hard earned attribute. It's crazy that people are missing the point. First thing you guys want to point the finger at is cheesing and overpowered moves when that's not the case for some people. They just want the ability to see ratings before they apply an attribute. It's that simple. All the extra theories and assumptions as to why people are requesting something that they've had in previous games is beyond me. SMH

Just as bad, just saw a video of a guy playing and when you go into badges it doesn't show which ones are upgradeable to gold or which ones are bronze. Yikes. This whole game feels like you're taking a shot in the dark with 100s of hours of gameplay.

Man is this really getting people bent out of shape? I have to question people's priorities.

I'm a huge diehard fan of 2k and love myplayer/proam/park but this isn't a huge deal to me. I plan on making multiple builds and maxing them out each.

I just think when you have stable income, job etc, your perspective on certain things change. This is not a big deal

I have a stable job with a good income, but when I want to relax I want to play the game I believe I'm playing. I would hate to make a dual archetype thinking I'm getting Gold defensive stopper, and I get stuck with bronze completely negating the reason I picked a defensive secondary.

Don't try to belittle people's opinions with the whole "I have a job" script man. Most people who have a job and stable income care about wasting time due to the fact were not kids with unlimited time to play. We have work and lives that eat up a ton of time, and we just want to be able to not have things masked so I don't waste my little free time I have making the wrong character.

I'm stable in life too, but I still think their design decision is severely lacking. People just don't want to waste their time.

If you just say 'Getting bent out of shape' over a video game, of course on the surface it sounds silly to do so, but people invest money and time into it. I could have all the money in the world but I'll still be pissed if I find out weeks later that I screwed up my build because I should have invested one more point in something or made my dude one inch shorter.

I understand and didn't mean to offend you. I will say this though. If you have a defender as secondary archetype, I think it's safe to say you will have gold defensive stopper. To me that is a no brainer

I was using that as an example, it's safe to assume that, but it's not certain. I just would be pretty upset if I was someone else that made the assumption my player was going to have X and ended up with Y.

I think most people would have said seeing what you're upgrading your attributes to before you spend the VC was a no brainer, and look how that turned out. Best not to assume anything.
