Oh my. You have the opportunity to show the game and all you do is push L1 and run pick and roll with your center or ISO with your PG.
On top of that Ronnie is just complaining all the time "that's not realistic"", "that's bull****, "coooomeee ooooon, maaake that", "oh my goooood, stop making fouls". NBA 2K needs to look critically at their PR department, they can educate the audience so much more about the subtle beauties in the game.

What's up with this dunks in traffic..........??

      I'm already mad at it.
      2k18 fixes

Bigs can cover to much ground on defense(they are too fast)

Late contest on laups matter too much.

      Random blocks doing pumpfakes.

Leaning shots for guys who have catch and shoot badge should be removed.

Yeah, but they still look way, way better than last year. I'd rather have some players look a little off (the same way some were too bulky in 2K16) than that terrible skinny body type in 2K17 which just looked grotesque.

I wish they'd start letting Mike and someone else play. I've never seen Mike play once.

I haven't watch the video yet but from previous live stream from these guys they never run a play. I don't understand why people are upset when they don't want to give anybody any advantage of showing their game. Granted, they work for 2K and you think they would have couple of hints to show the community and users how the gameplay is. It is what it is. I'll wait until Friday to get my copy and practice.

I've just noticed something. What the hell happened to Tom Thibodeau (14:53)?! I thought they already had a decent model in place in 2K16...it's really strange.

                1. Offensive rebounds still a problem. I think ball had 4 or 5 in the first quarter.
                2. He said the spin was almost impossible last year,,??? It was an OP cheese, as it appears to be again.
                3. More bad shots go in than wide open,. Slightly late/early ,, again and it's on superstar. 😑
                4. Cpu logic on transition appears to be completely broken as a few guys pointed out last week.
                5. The Ball just drops in the paint regardless handler or defenders,, again.. And can be seen in almost any video that's out there. Smh.
                6. Maybe it's time to just eliminate the keep game close logic, maybe that's what's making all this mess happen and has been for a while now, even does it in pro am and park FFS
                7. Of course they aren't going to touch the attribute issue until they rack up that initial vc from this super shady practice.
                8. Ea please keep improving nba live because competition is good.

As they pointed out on the stream it is hard to play and talk at the same time.

I don't presume to speak for LD2K or Ronnie2K but if I had to present the game on a stream while playing, I'd probably find it really hard to run a smart offense through plays while telling people about the game.

While I'd love to watch a stream of two basketball heads just playing, I still felt relieved to watch this stream and at least seeing guys who know their personnel and play something approximating real basketball.

It sure beats most of the other gameplay videos out to this point.

Don't worry Ronnie has a patch released for the stream. Kidding I agree but they didn't really interact with anyone but themselves..

Would have been more fun to watch them just play their way and trash each other.

If you held the camera horizontal, it was so blurry camera was so far back.. Almost unwatchable.

To see it clearer, you had to watch it vertically, which gives you about 2 inches of screen using your phone. You couldn't tell the difference between a big man and a small man.

Just like their huge NY event.. Went from 6-7k people watching to about 2k (no pun).

All valid points. Perhaps it would be best if someone else from 2K played a game, while they'd just comment and say what they want to say, hell CPU vs. CPU would be better to really showcase the game and they way it flows.

I just don't think it's a good look for them or the game really. The whining, comments like "that's not realistic" "no way" (followed by LD taking 100 shots with Lonzo Ball, because he's excited I guess) and LD: "[Crawford] is a bad man" Ronnie: "Well he just missed an open three".

I know it's just banter, not really a big deal or anything but I kinda think it plays to the mentality of many players (e.g. player A missed an open three = the game is broken) and it's just frustrating.

The bodies actually look more realistic. Muscle definition also looks very appropriate.

Well said.. You would think they were opposed to the game by Ronnie's reactions.. When we all know everyone who plays with the Lakers.. Is doing the same thing just to try out lonzo.

I did find it weird if Ronnie missed shots or didn't like the way LD played.. almost sounded like he was complaining and whining..

LD seemed like he was enjoying the game, I kind of feel now.. That he let Ronnie win.. Because the best part if the broadcast was throwing cereal in Ronnie's head.. He finally seem happy.

Then again this all means nothing, their horrible showing back to back.. Still doesn't take away 2k will be great.

What really stood out to me was the drive and kick game... Lonzo was beating his man and kicking to wide open shooters in the corners... I think they finally got the passing speed right. The ball actually looks faster than the player. The passing animations and speed at which the shooters caught the ball and shot were fluid. Looked good.

I would of loved to see Ronny take advantage of KAT in the high post and pick and pop 3s...

The defensive adjustments menu is just what the dr. ordered after the travesty of a menu last year. Everything is tucked in 1 place with explanations... Kudos.

                              I am encouraged...

                                This right here.

As I've said before, 2k would be better off showcasing CPU vs CPU. No offense to them, as I respect the efforts these 2 put into their jobs, LD and Ronnie playing does a diservice to the improvements made in gameplay.
I know I know, we always hear, its hard to talk and play. A) it really isnt and B) you could easily just say for example: "here Im going to show you something on this one play real quick, check out Czars flow tech in action" or something to that effect. Not even that in depth, just "look how much faster plays develop"

I cant believe they dont realize this, but Ronnie complaining sets the platform for more unwarranted complaining from twitter trolls who cant play. Most people (outside of this nice little oasis we call OS) recognize Ronnie as the FACE of NBA 2k. When he complains the game is cheating him, what idea does that put into the head of 15 yr old @FIXDROSE?

At this point, this is just for LD and Ronnie to have fun, and they deserve that! But if we are showcasing the game, lets showcase the game. I know many have suggested DaCzar vs OG, which would be fun, but I'd like to propose an idea of a Community vs Dev Showcase Game. And it couldnt be a youtube celeb BRUH that BRUH screams nonsense BRUH because he'll bruh BRUH be in tears after getting smacked by a dev. I'd like to throw this out there BRUH..
