How come the 3rd guy is a different one then the one I got? I don't remember his name, but he's a PG with "Westbrook driving and Curry shooting"
Jackson plays every position. I had to play against him and Lebron in the 2020 Finals where they came back from a 3-0 lead. I believe we got blown out every game after the 3rd win. IT got injured in game 4 and that was it.

Yeah that's weird. Jackson was labeled as Kevin Durant, Petrovic as Anthony Davis and I forgot about the other guy.

Should say "Start" and the end of the prime would be "Peak". I believe it's in the attributes when you choose a detailed view on the roster screen.

I do. Only way to really immerse myself. I am praying for healthy Brook Lopez.

Thanks. I'll look for the detailed view since I don't think I have used it before.

And the 3rd guy for me was a PG named Freddie Staples. I choose Jackson Baldwin though.

Any advise on how to use the celtics? I lost by 30 against the cavs and i am not sure how to utilize kyrie and hayward.

Also, annoyed about the cpu teams not calling timeouts the entire game. I saw it posted in the bugs thread and im hoping it gets fixed soon.

Is MYGM worth playing? I’ve always played My GM but the new storyline seems to have ruined some of the mode in terms of your year 1 team building is somewhat out the window. Also is there any way to not have your team relocate in my gm?

To the point, I kinda got pissed and I am going to revise my draft classes.

Please note, that players regress in this game and just cause you get a player who has potential superstar all over him, don't think he won't fail if you place him in a bad environment. Sign players who fit the system. For the first time since I played a sports game, you really have to build around the system and the players within it.

It's not easy like it was in previous years. You must do your homework as development isn't easy. You can get your player's potential to a 99 and cry watching him be stuck at 75.

2k devs did their thing on this one. My only advice is to fix the contracts. It ruins the game. You have to add more teams due to the contract issue.

I deleted my first half cause I don't want dev to go back and remove something that's amazing for gamers.
Great read. Can you explain how system proficiency affect gameplay?

This. I don't get how they can ignore this if MyLeague lasts 80 years. It's absolutely insane to me. Can a dev at least give some insight? Are there coding issues? What makes it so hard to get rookies right? I'm no developer, that's why I would love to hear their opinion.

They should also patch/update the Statline in myLeague

It starts with PPG, but it should start with Games played, then Minutes played, then PPG, Rebounds and so on.....

Don`t know why they changed it ???

I would kill for separate rotations for played games and simulated games.

                        Tips for development and drafting:

                        1. Make sure the player fits your personnel and your system. If he doesn't, he will not develop.

                        2. Don't draft ANYONE who can't play in the NBA. If he's in the 60's, he better be having a 1 or 2 gold coin by his name to stash in Europe because he won't develop enough to play in the NBA.

                        3. The G-League only works with two-way contracts. Not if they are already on your roster.

                        4. The G-League is great is it's the only way for some players with low potential or terrible overall to develop but ONLY if they are on a two-way contract. Sending players to the G-League who's signed to the team just doesn't work.

                        5. All of the players hate playing in the G-League in this game. That being said, players can really improve, vastly improve or in some cases get much much worse. The Stephen Zimmerman G-League player becomes a superstar in the NBA overall wise. Josh Okogie from my draft class becomes a stud. But most players don't become superstars from the G-League. They usually develop 6-8 points if they stay the entire season. Some have massively improved like 15-20. Some massively get worse, I have seen a player go from 55 to 44 in two seasons in the G-League. I've seen removed the player and replaced him in my class. But this is the only way borderline guys stay in the league.

This is an excellent feature, to be frank. It really helps because literally, a lot of guys would be out of the league without it. For the most part, guys with a good potential and in the low 70's never go to the G-League. For the guys who do, most never improve more than 6-8 points which is enough to get them to the NBA and to be an asset to someone's team.

                        6. Look to sign players who really fit your system and team. If they have four stars and they are the low 70's, they will develop at a much higher rate than their actual potential. Then again, miss on a player and you will see your team performance struggle and you will see that player and others around him get slightly better each year if they get better at all.

Lastly, maybe I'm missing something but I don't think there's a way to sign newly drafted players to 2-way deals. In real life, I think the majority of 2-way contracts will be 2nd Rounders going forward and as far as I know the only way to do that in the game is not sign them in the rookie signing stage, then sign them at the beginning of the new season instead.

Of course, the CPU team doesn't do this so unless you have self-control then you can have your pick of whichever early 2nd rounder that wasn't signed. I think if those early 2nd's were automatically signed to 2-way deals instead then that should really help things.

On a positive note, in the 3-4 sims I ran tonight no player under the age of 34 ever retired so that would be huge if G-League was populated correctly.
They usually retire after 4-5 years of no NBA from my experience.

All I do in MyGM is handle the team like a GM. I never play games. My SuperSonics have won an absurd five straight titles. These guys beat a 70 win Grizzlies team in the Conference Finals, before sweeping the Wizards in the Finals. I just wanted to mention it now, because I'm pretty sure I won't be able to keep the team together due to finances. This is my most recent roster to win the title in 2025 and their accomplishments since coming to Seattle.

                              De'Aaron Fox [15.7ppg, 6.5apg, 3.7rpg, 1.2spg, 48FG%) (5 NBA Titles, 2018 All-Rookie 1st Team, 2024 All-Star)
Vin Rowe (24th pick in 2024, acquired via minimum contract and he became starter) (10.8ppg, 47FG%) (1 NBA Title)
                              Mario Salvaderi (2nd pick in 2020) (13.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.5spg, 44FG%) (5 NBA Titles, 2022 All-Rookie 1st Team)
                              Melvin Sheridan (9th pick in 2020) (15.5ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.3bpg, 61FG%) (5 NBA Titles, 2 Finals MVPs, 2025 All-Defensive 2nd Team)
                              Mikro Petrovic (3rd pick in 2018) (17.0ppg, 9.9rpg, 1.7bpg, 58FG%) (5 NBA Titles, 3 Finals MVPs, 8 Time All-Star, 2021 All-NBA 1st Team, 6 Time All-NBA 2nd Team, 2023 All-NBA 3rd Team, 2021 & 2026 All-Defensive 1st Team, 2019 & 2020 All-Defensive 2nd Team, 2019 All-Rookie 1st Team)
Victor Oladipo (Acquired via trade, started for three titles) (8.2ppg, 37FG%) (4 NBA Titles)
                              Perry McCloud (8th pick in 2025) (5.7ppg, 5.0apg, 46FG%) (1 NBA TItle)
Paul George (Signed before season) (7.4ppg, 43FG%) (1 NBA Title)
Tony Bradley (Signed for minimum) (4.6ppg, 4.6rpg, 49FG%) (3 NBA Titles)
Donnie Ferrell (Signed for minimum) (5.3ppg, 4.4rpg, 54FG%) (2 NBA Titles)
