Players fumble too many long up-court passes imo. That doesn't happen in real life

Just double checking, you're not referring to these type of long passes are you?

Note: This was a testing phase. Hall of Fame default sliders. I did the following on purpose to test things out. Long passes are too successful.

Man I didn't have an appreciation for just how much better driving is until just now.

I'm a small forward, slashing and passing has always been my game in MyCareer and that's what I went with this year. I've played against some decent 3s but nobody quick enough or strong enough to stop me from driving past (not easily I still have to time my movement and lure them in) until just now. Kidd Gilchrist put the clamps on me, I was stuck in mud every time I tried to get past him. It felt like 2K17 AI defence but not like I was being cheated because in this game he's a great perimeter defender. It was amazing. I scored 6 points the entire game and didn't even care because I appreciate the AI defending me well and stopping my game.

Only issue I have right now gameplay wise is that the mid range seems pretty non existent. Sort of like the Rockets but for every team and everybody is shooting 3s in volume. But that also reflects the current NBA too, guess it's just a personal thing.

2K IF YOU TOUCH THIS GAME IM SUING YOU!!!!


This is the BEST 2k game ever made. This is coming from a old friend. I LOVE IT!!!!! Don't patch anything. Don't touch anything dealing with OFFLINE gameplay or experience. OMG the percentage is finally at 40%. The game scoring is finally Lower. The freethows are more often. IM SO HAPPY!!!!

And its a fu$%^kin shame that we get this game NOW in life. Why couldn't we get this back in 2001 when we had superstars.

I don't play online. I don't play my player. I could give a sh$%t about any other mode in the game.

This game is for NBA fans. The NBA teams and its players. All I play is play now & season mode. NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS......

THIS IS FOR NBA FANS!!!!..........period

The game is still smooth even after the cheesers who try and break it have had a full day on it


Shooting seems balanced

Dunks are finally balanced



This game is uber fun

I played it for 12 hours straight yesterday

This is the only 2k Iv ever done that with

Also this is post scorer heaven. I haven't been ripped much from the post just cause dudes are around me

Every time Iv been ripped it's been because of my mistake.


Also things just make sense on this 2k. I went light weight and short at center and I'm getting destroyed by basically any good max height max weight guy. And I EXPECTED that. I traded in post D and rebounding to be able to defend any position on the court from the PF position and I feel like I can guard 1-5 effectively

I love the differences in team and player talent. Played with OKC versus the Knicks melo destroyed me (the dude had 31 points at the half. No matter what defense i threw at him he just torched it. I loved every second of that beating i got.

I played as my Houston rockets vs the Kings. We dominated them by 30 points, Harden was unstoppable. He would've had 50 if i didn't pull him out in the 3rd. When the Memphis Grizzlies came to Houston, that's when things took a turn and became really grindy up until the 4th, where we were able to pull away winning the game 97-79.

The way driving to the basket is done in the game is the best it's every been in a sports game. With a guy like Russ, I can and did beat the first line of defense basically anytime i felt like it. I still shot 39 percent from the field (A lot of drives and kicks to average shooters outside of a couple guys). That alone should let you know That the rotations are really trying it's best to force lower percentage shots.

The game just plays basketball. The only times I've gone mad over a 2K is 2K6, 2K8, and 2K11. This game is truly a something special folks.

With Melo torching you, was Porzingis still involved somewhat? I am seeing the issue of like Melo taking 23 shots going 7-23 while Porzingis goes 3-5 from the field. Need more balance...

The CPU scoring is pretty strong in this game. I was the Timberwolves playing Golden State and they dropped 43 on me in the first quarter, 8/9 from three point range. I'll have to play against some lesser teams to see if offense is really that crazy or if it's just because of who I was playing against. Tough to get a gauge off of playing the Warriors because they can light people up like that in real life. But even Patrick McCaw lit me up a few times.

Wow...so im playing with the 99 Knicks. Go up for a basic two hander dunk under the basket with LJ and couldnt help but grin when he came down and grabbed his lower back... If thats not authentic i dont know what is. Love 2k

I played 4 game so far with the Cavaliers (vs Celtics, Bucks, Magic & Bulls) and no team has scored over 50% (MyLeague, All-Star default). Finally, playing defense is enjoyable.

I'm loving this game and I'm really glad that I saved my money for it (and the Madden team need to learn from 2k )

Anybody noticing how atrocious the 3 point shooting is for both sides? I have yet to see a game where anyone has shot above 33 percent from downtown. Most games, me and the cpu can't even crack 30 percent
