Bro I submitted mine Saturday night and still no reply from them after the automated one, I don't know what I'm doing wrong it's like they just pick people at random. I'm sitting here waiting with no idea what's going on, and I'm one more long day away from calling Microsoft for compensation, I already lost my weekend I won't lose another weekend waiting for a player.

My save got deleted on saturday 19:00 CEST.
I made a ticket on Monday 08:30 CEST and yesterday 23:00 CEST i got it back with the help of 2K support.

I can confirm that you get all your badges and overall back, but not your hairstyle, tattos, clothings and animations.
You also need to start the whole story from beginning.
As compensation for that you get 35.000 VC.

2k has overwritten my dummy file, but be aware the team and the number your choose for the dummy file stays (so if you would you can go to a different team as in your deleted save)

When you load the file the first time dont you worry about the wrong height, weight, overall and badges in the loading screen.
All of it will be replaced right after the save is fully loaded

I think i got my save back so quick because i'm from the germany 2k support team (in german of course)

Because in germany everbody plays fifa and not that much people play 2k i think the support here is not as fully occupied as in america

I think it is. I'm from Brazil and here few peoples got this problem, I guess, so I think that's why I got mine faster than others

So, they do not return the VC you spent on clothing? If I spent 50,000 on clothing...they refund me 35,000? I lose 15,000 overall?

They said if you spent more than 35k on clothes, tatoos, etc you need to contact them.

Regardless, I realized i wasnt getting a response because i replied in the automated email and my ticket still said awaiting reply, so I replied on the support site and it now currently says open. I also asked just to receive a 35000 VC locker code and call it even, so we'll see what the reply is.


Is it confirmed the patch did fix these issues? I guess none of this matters for the time being if the issue is still there.

It is, they add it to your account rather than a locker code, at least for me. Locker code was for the preorder clothes I lost. Of course if you spent more than that on stuff then you're encouraged to make a note of it in the ticket.

As far as confirming the patch fixes these issues, that's murky territory. There are still people on Reddit who are losing their saves but it seems to be a lot less widespread as it was before. I've been kind of following the issues that people are posting and I've seen three major ones, two that seem avoidable but one that seems not as avoidable provided it's accurate:

1) Someone has been gone since the patch came out and when their 2K updates, they have to start over. Unless you haven't loaded into MyCareer since then, I'm guessing that you're safe from this one.

2) People are playing MyGM/MyLeague/MyTeam and then going into career and seeing that they lost their saves. I haven't even touched those modes whenever I play Career and if I plan to, I always restart the game either way before I switch from one to the other to be safe.

3) People are being disconnected from the servers and when they come back, their player is gone or their screens are freezing, they exit out and have to restart. This is the scariest one and makes me wince whenever I freeze loading into my Court or crash (Though I've had a lot less of that since the patch). There's no telling when or how this can hit and it seems so random that you can't control it. It can be anywhere from playing a game and going to the clothes shop to playing a Pro-Am game and having this happen to a few Playground games crashing.

At first I was thinking that I was safe because I had my file cloned and deleted the leftover save but even people who have had their files copied over and brought back have had this error. Losing your save itself seems like it's less of an issue and it seems that more people are losing their progress, not earning VC and have negative badge totals. It's getting discouraging that this patch didn't fix the issue and there hasn't really been any chatter about how it's going to be prevented or when we're getting a true fix for it all. I've been playing for days and been fine even with a few close calls but I dread that my luck is gonna run out and I'm going to lose one of my Careers again due to it.

I lost my character Saturday night and still haven't received a response to my ticket, which is in the 256k range.
