Is this happening more on XB1 or PS4? I have a decent mycareer going on ps4 and I'm not really sure how or if I should proceed.

Naw I saw it when I searched "nba 2k18 MyCareer save glitch".

I remember 100% the response was directly from 2k supports Twitter tho so it's good info

Unless they were flat out lying it's pretty safe to assume that it is just a visual glitch

It is not a bug on PS4 at all, it's an XB1 thing (and maybe Switch?)

My save got deleted on saturday 19:00 CEST.
I made a ticket on Monday 08:30 CEST and yesterday 23:00 CEST i got it back with the help of 2K support.

I can confirm that you get all your badges and overall back, but not your hairstyle, tattos, clothings and animations.
You also need to start the whole story from beginning.
As compensation for that you get 35.000 VC.

2k has overwritten my dummy file, but be aware the team and the number your choose for the dummy file stays (so if you would you can go to a different team as in your deleted save)

When you load the file the first time dont you worry about the wrong height, weight, overall and badges in the loading screen.
All of it will be replaced right after the save is fully loaded

If you got some more question i will try to answer you

Bro I submitted mine Saturday night and still no reply from them after the automated one, I don't know what I'm doing wrong it's like they just pick people at random. I'm sitting here waiting with no idea what's going on, and I'm one more long day away from calling Microsoft for compensation, I already lost my weekend I won't lose another weekend waiting for a player.

I think i got my save back so quick because i'm from the germany 2k support team (in german of course)

Because in germany everbody plays fifa and not that much people play 2k i think the support here is not as fully occupied as in america

They're taking their sweet time to reply to my ticket and resolve it. Nice job. Also, do we get our badge progress or does that become another casualty?

Ridiculous we got to jump through all these hoops and wait days (or weeks?) to either get a refund or our myplayer back.

Yes i think so...
If you can not prove you spent 50,000 it's going to be though.
If i would be in your place i would tell 2K you spent so much VC on clothing and maybe they can give you 50,00 back.
Maybe when you bought VC for real money (the should see that you bought VC) you can prove that you dont spent it on somethign else like myteam or so.

Alternative you can make a ticket for geting your (real) money back directly from Microsoft or Sony. Microsoft already paid back some money.
