• Position: Same as your missing file
• Height: 5'7
• Wingspan: 63.7
• Shoulder Width: 17.7
• Archetype: Pure 3Pt Shooting
• Has NO attributes upgraded at all

I didn't file a ticket, at least not yet.. 5 hours ago they tweeted they had a ton of tickets to go through.. what a pain

2K just tweeted that they're dealing with the issue by tickets exclusively.. so I filed my ticket

LOL sorry if not everyone has 10,000 hrs to upgrade their guy. If you want to play competitive, you have to buy VC. It is what it is. Now, would I support a mass boycott to send a message? Sure why not. But so far, the 2K community is still ok buying VC. And we have to also remember -- buying VC means games like 2K can innovate and bring game-changing features like Run the Neighborhood. You see any other sports video game doing this kinda stuff? Didn't think so. I'll buy VC if it goes towards building cool stuff. But I can also recognize when a company is trying to milk it for all that it can get.

Congrats on having 'integrity' to grind a video game for 1000 hrs Ain't that serious. You don't get an award or medal for doing it the 'hard way' lmao. I'll tell you this. I'm not gonna go around with a 60 OVR while everyone else is in the 80s and when all of your teammates are trying to run pro am. And Im this broke but 'honorable' dude who will 'grind the right way'. This ain't Zelda bro lmao, I just wanna ball. And if someone can't afford $50, then they shouldn't be spending their time on a videogame, they should be grinding irl.

A random player in the gym got to the ropes the same as I did, I press X and my player just jogs back and forth. I can't get out the animation, had to close the game down...

i finally got around to try this and i cant based on my position i cant get that low regarding height, wingspan and Shoulder Width. So un less ur a point guard it wont let you. So if you get this from then tell them it wont let you.

Finally got a real response and told that my old career file was saved to the placeholder. I was given 35K VC an a locker code for my pre order items which worked. The only issue is that even after clearing the cache a few times like they suggested if it didn't show up, I have yet to see the updated save. Hoping I get a response soon.

As for the poster above, the instructions to begin with, at least that I received were to make the smallest height and wingspan possible and your archetype. Not sure why they changed it or what the deal is there. Either way, I'll try and update this if I get a response/get my save back but they're trying, it's just going to take a while for them to get to it if you had it too recently. I was three hours after digital launch so I can only imagine someone who had this happen today or late last night.

Just had my second file (LDD) recovered. Painfully, none of the badge progress was recovered. Existing badges were, but I had five that were REALLY close, and they're back to zero. ;(

Edit: I will say that I appreciate the 2K Support responsiveness once they got to my case. They did what they could to right the situation, and it's not their fault all of this happened.

You have to put whatever is the shortest height and shortest wingspan you can get on your position. Doesn't have to be 5'7" or whatever, just low as you can go.

This happened to me twice with the game crashing.
I didn't realize I was losing VC, but I did notice my VC was low but my player is still there though.
