Would you partake in a Class action lawsuit against 2k?

Microsoft stop issuing refunds for Vc and NBA2k preorders. People are losing hundreds of $ with no clear answer from 2k support.

The only option is to dispute the charges with your credit card company.

There is a fundamental issue with micro transactions in the entire gaming industry, not only 2k.
It's a cultural issue with our zero patience, zero attention society that can't bare having to work for something longer than 5 minutes.

Not having refunds for games shouldn't be legal in my opinion but the gaming community doesn't give less of a toss about it. It is one of the worst consumer groups in the world for letting microtransactions influx our games and right now there's nothing we can do other than hope Australia file a lawsuit against Sony and Microsoft for not giving refunds on digital games and in game purchases like they did with Steam.

Such a dumb idea. If we're talking VC, then you should either dispute the purchases with your credit card company, or wait for 2KSports to compensate you. When they fix the problem, I HIGHLY doubt they will tell consumers that they're SOL for any previously earned or bought VC.

If you're wanting refund for the game...well, I'm sorry, but I believe people should ever get refunds for video games unless it flats out don't work meaning you can't get pass the intro screen no matter what the game company does to try and fix it.

Are you sarcastically asking him if he works for 2K? Your idea is stupid, man.

How about stop buying all that VC bull**** and grind away? I know atleast a few of you are spending a sizeable chunk of your net worth buying this stuff anyway.

What's the point of grinding if there's a risk of getting your file deleted with no badges

What's the point of going to work with the chance of losing your job?

I get this is frustrating for those that have lost their progress, but this is a little for a game that just launched.

Consumer protection laws are made for cases like this. I can't get these 2k support hoes to even give a status update or acknowledge my existence

How about you don't buy VC AND you don't grind?

For the last few years VC has been a total ****storm at launch. The entire VC MyPlayer concept is anti-life, just like DD in the Show.

Caveat emptor, people, ESPECIALLY with as much data as you had about past launch issues.

Maybe because they don't know. Customer Service of ANY company never knows when something will be fixed. Why? Because they're not the ones fixing the problem. They field the calls and open the tickets for someone else to fix or address it.

Lastly, 2K Sports can't even begin compensation for their customers until they fix the problem FIRST. So, no...the consumer laws were not made for this particular case. It's the equivalency of a service outage with your local utility company. You might get lucky and get a ETR, but nothing's guaranteed.
