People have some patience. I am pretty sure that 2k will compensate for all the lost VC. Keep your pantyhose on.
Would you partake in a Class action lawsuit against 2k?

Wrong. Im a software architect and our customer service/support does know exactly when a new version is released and what specific bugs will be fixed with which version.Comment

Remember them?
Wanted a helicopter in GTA? Got it.
Wanted more money? Motherlode baby.
Remember how using the Konami Code would activate something in 90% of games?
This excuse that “oh you know, some of us have lives” is not only pretentious but is also so outright stupid considering we DID have the ability to see everything a game has with no money involved.
Everybody need to watch the latest Jimquisition and try to tell me microtransactions have any place in games.Comment

In case anyone doesn't know.
VC purchases are handled by first party (Sony, Microsoft, etc.) Nothing to do with 2K - in fact, the developers are not allowed to be involved in that aspect of things.
Sony/Microsoft do the transaction and tell 2K who bought what.Comment

Re: Would you partake in a Class action lawsuit against 2k?
Such a dumb idea. If we're talking VC, then you should either dispute the purchases with your credit card company, or wait for 2KSports to compensate you. When they fix the problem, I HIGHLY doubt they will tell consumers that they're SOL for any previously earned or bought VC.
If you're wanting refund for the game...well, I'm sorry, but I believe people should ever get refunds for video games unless it flats out don't work meaning you can't get pass the intro screen no matter what the game company does to try and fix it.
I wouldnt go that far. If someone buys a game and they see the same BS issues every yr that the devs ignore and dont fix, and they want their money back, even on digital downloads, you should be able to get your money back.
Now there has to be a limited amount of time. Lets say you bought the game day 1, and are pissed off because they still havent fixed their crappy sim engine for stats, and you find out there is also a lack of fouls being called, you have a right to get your money back.
However, you cant wait hoping they will fix this stuff in a patch, and once you realize they aint going to fix it after a couple months of having the game, you can expect to get your money back.
More people need to stop buying this game on day1 each yr, and wait and see if they have fixed the issues that have hampered the series for many yrs, or whatever it is yout always unhappy with about the game.
I have heard you can get your money back from digital DL, but its definitely not as simple as going to gamestop and returning a game. There is both pros and cons to the digital DL's. I prefer the digital route, because its not easy for me to get out and about.
Now I dont play online, but if I did, and I bought VC and was getting screwed over and losing money, then I would be ticked off, and I dont care if you have had the game for 1 month or 10 months, I do whatever it took to get my money back.
I see people complaining all the time about these micro transactions. You do know you dont have to buy VC, lol. If enough people would say enough, Im not giving this company any extra money, maybe the company would get the picture.
You can complain about them and the money they make off of selling VC but 2k is a business 1st and foremost, they are going to do what makes them the most money. After all they dont make games for our enjoyment, they make games to make money
There is a old sayin,, that there is a sucker born everyday. And it true, and there seems to be many suckers who play NBA2k, heck its that way with all video games and this era of micro transactions.Everyone who exalts themselves will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted- Luke14-11

Re: Would you partake in a Class action lawsuit against 2k?
That's a Microsoft problem, not a 2k problem.
There is no class action lawsuit you could bring against 2k that will do anything but waste your time and money. Just because you don't like VC or the game doesn't mean you can sue them. I suggest you don't buy VC anymore and don't buy 2k20 at all and your problem will be solved.
Also, just an FYI for those of you who want to dispute the charges: If you dispute a charge on your credit card, they may put a notation on your account that other lenders may want resolved before they help you with other stuff like a mortgage or other large purchase. They are not something to mess around with just because you're mad you spent cash on VC.Last edited by BA2929; 10-17-2018, 06:01 PM."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment
