Made a 7'0 Two way athletic finisher Center and put him on the warriors. Was gonna go Defensive minded passing center but I saw the archetype I chose and couldn't help but go with it. My guy can still get under the basket and rebound/score with post moves while also being a threat on the break.we're currently 28-1, only losing our second game to the pelicans. we just lost durant to a broken toe for 2-4 weeks, but iggy is a great replacement.

i know a lot of people will call this cheese, but hey, i'm trying to earn those badges ASAP, and plus playing with the warriors is just so much fun. Steph is an absolute beast in this game. hits 3s from anywhere, will actually take your screens and drive to the hole, and has already hit 2 buzzer beating full court heaves. My plan is to go to the lakers next season (assuming they let you sign somewhere after season 1, which i'm assuming they will) and use my eventual 90 ovr level to recruit some more star talent to the team.

What are your thoughts on "squads" constantly cutting the line in playground mode?

Also, MyPlayer is still developing at 65 overall, but every time I "got next" with other players they leave the queue and then I have to wait a while for teammates.

Any tips? Sometimes it takes a while to play just one match.

Well seeing that I run with a squad (me and two of my homies) I don't see a problem with it lol. But I can see how it would be a pain for someone who doesn't already have a set squad. Only thing I can tell you is use your mic when playing and see if you can get anybody to respond back to you while playing. There are some pretty cool "randoms" out there that actually play the game the right way and don't just ball hog. Try linking up with them in squad. Or you could go to the old town flyers court that doesn't have the squad box and just play there. I think they purposely left the squad box off the court for reasons like this, thats what I tell myself anyway. Well hope that helped.

Made a 6'4 Playmaker/Slasher (PG), and teamed up with the Pelicans. I fit there like a dream come true. Davis and Cousins can both hit 3s at good clips, the pick and roll/pop game is lethal, already have Gold pick and roll maestro and I'm barely nearing the All-Stwr Break. Outside of my dunking still seemingly being completely random, I can't complain.

My friend and I run the Park together but we are having trouble finding a third. He is an Athletic finisher/ rim protector, PF. We share the ball, I might try a couple dribble moves but we try to keep the ball moving. We aren't "2K gawds" by any means but we play to win, with having fun playing being the key for us. If any of you Xbox guys are looking for a squad, PM me and we can figure something out.

Made a 6'6 SG named Scottie Hill and wearing #33 like Pippen and Grant Hill. Primary is Shot Creator with Driver/Finisher as Secondary. Loving the archetype as I'm able to through down some nice dunks, speed is decent and can still hit open jump shots.

Went to Cleveland as I figure I can help LeBron get another ring and then probably go out west to team up with Lonzo and the Lakers in year 2.

Cavs have had me sub in at Point sometimes and even at the 2 sometimes have me run the offense which I like.

Team is 5-4 currently but I know that will go up as I get more playing time. My high in minutes is 12 and don't think my player has played in 2nd half unless we are winning big.

Current career highs are 14 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists in a game.

Thanks for the advice on the Old Town Flyers. That should hopefully reduce the wait and squads jumping the line. I'm 76 overall now, so hopefully too many people won't shy away from teaming up with me.

Also, in such a short time, it's amazing to see so many people 85+ overalls. They must be playing 24/7 and earning crazy VC.

I'm a Shot Creator/Slasher PG with the Bucks. I wanted to be the scoring guard the Bucks need next to Giannis. I only played about 15 games in my rookie season with about half being a 65 overall before I bought VC and grinder from 77 to and 80. I averaged 12.6/2.4/4 on 44/35/63 shooting. In the playoffs we got swept by the Cavs but I averaged about 20 a game.

Anybody else notice how on defense your teammates like to leave the player they are guarding. For no reason at all, especially when the shot clock is running out. I play the point. Staying in front my guy the whole possession, then all of a sudden for no reason someone just slides away from whoever they are guarding to give up a 3. Happens at least 10 times a game. And if that player is a good 3 point shooter then it's lights out all game. Just played the raptor and baka went 9/10 from the 3. I can't play anymore until this is patched.

I saw somewhere else on this site that someone said you get paid in a lump sum. So you don't get it every game but like every 3 games or something like that....

This is correct. Also applies to the other sponsors like Gatorade, etc.

Created a 6'1" Pure playmaker PG and went to Minnesota, simply because I thought that my player (once developed) along with Towns, Wiggins, and Butler would be a good core to build upon. Having Jamal Crawford come of the bench for us is a nice plus. So far we're 17-4 and I have just been informed of starting next game. I'm passing nicely, but trying to build up my mid-range, layups, and speed so I can at least be of offensive support. I really enjoy the gameplay, but the loading times and pointless cut scenes (so far) are a tad grueling and really extend the game time. I'll be trudging through the VC grind wallet-free, using a CPU MyLeague with my hometown Pistons to scratch my "on court coordinator" itch and passively accrue VC for MyPlayer. Currently a 70 overall.

I have two careers ongoing right now. My first is a defense/rebounding 6'11" C. He's on the Thunder which kind of went into something weird that happened to me with the Prelude and thought I had to keep the same team with the placeholder save. A logjam because of that but at least I'm not too tall to play the 4. Not starting yet and only a few games in because of lost time but hoping to be the defensive anchor of the team along with PG. This is my more online oriented less serious Career where I play 5 minute quarters and focus more on badge hunting/leveling up.

I also have a 6'2" playmaker/sharpshooter that I'm enjoying. I chose the Spurs given Parker's injury in a somewhat realistic way of lessening his role. Danny Green is missing from the team and replaced by Shammy (which is weird because Forbes is still there and you'd think he'd be cut before Green). This is my more serious career with 12 minute quarters and playing more realistic running plays and freelance. 27-7 with the last 4 games or so being a struggle because Kawhi, Aldridge and Rudy all went down with injuries in the same game (along with Eric Gordon, that game was insane). It's basically Gasol and I with Gasol averaging 16/12 for the season so far turning back the hands of time for a bit.

Which is the crappy part about making that career more realistic (I'm only a 73 overall and trying to resist the urge to buy to upgrade despite feeling like it's going to take years for me to ever get any major statistic up from this point forward). Darrun Hilliard went from no playing time to being a starter after all those injuries while Manu and Parker get less than 15 mins per game, Mills only gets 8 and Shammy gets 14. Even Forbes who was starting before the injuries isn't getting any playing time at all. The starting line up is basically myself/Hilliard/Anderson/Bertans/Gasol which means that only myself and Bertans can really shoot (Gasol will never shoot from 3 even when wide open). It makes me really curious to see what it looks like to reach 90 and how in depth you can go with the rotations.

I am thinking of creating a driving and finishing/defending center with the max wingspan but have the lowest height and weight so it will be faster both in driving and defending. Is this good? I need your opinion guys. thank you

I haven't played MyCareer in a few days because I don't want to lose my guy. Plus the losing VC is stopping me too.
