I'm not!! .... I only asked about bills trades.... cuz philly tryna move Okafor...and bulls in a similar situation with Mirotec and Portis ordeal.... (my last trade request was regarding Okafor goin to Lakers)

So far I've only made/have a 76ers chise goin (c'mon that's a fun team! Embiid, Simmons, Fultz, and JJ!)

And I always do a Lakers chise!!

I usually run 2 different franchise's..... 1 of my Lakers (where I try to always, keep the roster the same as actual team does) and 1 franchise with a "fun" team

This is my first NBA game since NBA 2k15. I kept that for 3 years and had a Pistons franchise that I kept going until I believe it was the year 2029 in the game. That was pretty fun, and actually hard to let go.

This time around I thought long and hard about who I wanted to use, and I decided to roll with the Brooklyn Nets. Figured it would be challenging yet fun to try and rebuild them. And I've always been a fan of Jeremy Lin so that helped. I will say this.... Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is a FUN player to use.

I've never been a fan of brook Lopez (I prefer old-school centers(post game and/or rim protector) rather then a stretch big) with philly basically willing to give okafor away... i came up with a few scenarios....

          76ers get:

          Lopez

          Lakers get:

          Okafor

(Least valuable) 1st rd pick (top 5 protected)

          Or....

          76ers get:

          Lopez

          Lakers get:

          Okafor

          Reddick

          I've always been a fan of J.J!

He could start at the 2, and Kcp could back up both wing positions.

Idk if philly would want another center, but it's only a 1 year deal, would provide (much needed) veteran leadership, not to mention.... would make for a great asset to soak up some minutes since embiid is on a strict "pitch count" or if he gets injured.

P.s. considered starting an expansion team (if I don't go with lakers) .... would philly even protect Okafor? And what about the suns?.... would they protect Bledsoe? I know he's a very good guard....but the way their front office killed the trade value, would they just let him walk?

As always thanks for any input!

Reddick provides very much what you want him to do in LA in Philly, so I don’t know that they’d want to trade him away, especially for another C and not another 3 point shooting wing. I think your first deal sounds better, but for two seconds. They want to give away Okafor, but not for a pick likely heading back to the lakers you feel?[emoji23] 2 seconds still provides you with valuable trade chips for another vet, or more chances to get a gem or even move up in the draft

P.S. No they wouldn’t. At all[emoji23] Bledsoe more likely yes because he’s still a very good player and they wouldn’t want to let him walk for nothing

Imo. LaVert plays wayyy better then his ratings would suggest!

Oh yeah...LeVert is awesome to play with as well. I'm in the second year of my franchise and I signed Marcus Smart in the off-season, so I bumped LeVert to the 3. He's a bit undersized ok defense for some of the bigger SFs in the game, but usually I can manage.

Ok all you os.com/2k G.M's out there, I'm pretty sure I'll start my Lakers 'chise today.... but first I'd like to hear from the braintrusts before I do.

Currently on the baby Lakers trade block:

                - Deng, at his age and with that contract.... he doesn't fit in the plans for the rebuild and I wouldn't even use him in the rotation!

                - Lopez, probably has the highest trade value (out of who I'm willing to trade) even though it's 1 year deal... I've just never been a Lopez fan.

                - Randal, Even though he's a little undersized (for my liking) at the 4.... I really do like using him and he plays pretty good. I looked at what he expects to re-sign for in the off season.... he's expecting over $21 million!!! I'm not willing to spend thay much on a sub 80 ovr player! (If okafor isn't expecting a insane amount like that.... would Randal for Okafor and a 2nd be a realistic trade?)

Only untouchable is Lonzo.....but Kuzma is basically right there too (it would take a major deal, involving someone like Embiid or Greek Freak)

I'm not looking to take on big contracts, unless it's for a marquee player.

                I'm looking for

Dominant bigs (like 6'11" ⬆️ for the 4 and 7'1"⬆️ for 5's or atleast gotta play that big!) Who can get boards&block's

3pt shooters I need a sniper! J.J. Reddick is definitely my ideal target

Perimeter/wing defenders.... I have Kcp and definitely thinking about re-signing him, but if I can find an upgrade or a 2nd Lockdown type..... I'd like to think I could keep up with the likes of the warriors 🤞🏼

Draft picks.... I know the Lakers will have a season good enough for my 1st rd pick to fall out of protection (and go to the 76ers)

And of course I'm fine with 3 team trades.

With all that info I've given.... any scenarios work to land Reddick and Okafor?

As always thanks for any advice 👍

If your going for realism then It's going to be tough to get JJ from the 76ers as they don't need Lopez and aren't going to take on salary that will prevent them from signing a max deal. He is on a 1 year deal around 20 million so maybe you could get him in the offseason if your willing to wait. Jordan Clarkson would be the player that would fit I think on the 76ers.

Have you looked at Ingles from the Jazz ? He is one of the best 3 & D players in the game atleast based on ratings.

If you want a realistic trade for JJ and/or Okafor, you'd have to include Kuzma and/or Ingram, with the 76ers eating Deng's cap.

I could see the 76ers trading for Clarkson, I'd hate it, but I could see it. Okafor for Clarkson is a possibility.

Yikes!!! Georgia and Gary.... you guys still think 76ers would demand that much!?!

So far there's no trade offers (atleast to the public) and he's know demanding a buyout (obviously they don't have to listen, he's under contract for the year) I'd think that could become cancerous to the locker room with such a young team....especially if he has any solid friendships with teammates (such as Embiid) .... but I guess that's why I seek the unbiased opinions

What would it take to get Mario Hezonja to the Bulls? I know Orlando denied his option and there's rumors going that he's available to be traded but I've been unable to get Orlando to agree to a deal.

Portis or Zipser and a 2nd. Could use better depth there especially if trading Hezonja away, and a pick for a little sweetener. Could REALLY use a PG, but not from the Bulls.

For Deng, yeah you’re gonna have to ship out a pretty good player. You can kill 3 birds with one stone in this trade

                            LAL Receives:
                            Andre Drummond
                            Luis Montero
                            2018 1st Round Pick (Top 10 Protected)

                            DET Receives:
                            Luol Deng
                            Julius Randle
                            2020 1st Round Pick (Top 5 Protected)
2018 2nd Round Pick (via DEN)

Lakers receive the dominant big man center, shed Dengs contract, and get a moderately likely first round pick.

Detroit receives a very intriguing prospect PF prospect where they are weak, trade away Drummond who they have grown less than fond of for his effort on the defensive end and free throw shooting, and gets a couple trade chips or potential future players when they blow this whole thing up because the SVG era isn’t working.

                            Or for 3point shooting,

                            LAL Receives:
                            Wayne Ellington

                            MIA Receives:
                            Corey Brewer
2018 2nd Round Pick (via DEN)

A sniper from 3 on a one year deal, who won’t cost much besides a matching expiring in Brewer, who probably isn’t playing much for you, but gives MIA a veteran defensive wing, and a second round pick.

                            Or

                            LAL Receives:
                            Joe Johnson

                            UTA Receives:
                            Corey Brewer
2020 1st Round Pick (Lottery Protected)

Pretty good 3 point shooter, and a good all around scorer. To compensate though, he costs a little more because Utah will miss his scoring and Brewer isn’t gonna replicate it. By 2020 the pick will hopefully be in the mid 20’s

As far as a wing defender,

                            LAL Receives:
                            Tony Allen
                            2018 2nd Round Pick

                            NOP Receives:
                            Josh Hart

Allen’s old, but still rocking it defensively. He can lock down perimeter players for a year, and gives you cap flexibility to sign a younger option for a perimeter defender. Pelicans need wings, and Josh Hart is a young cheap scoring wing who could be a part of their future long term.

                            If you want Okafor,

                            LAL Receives:
                            Jahlil Okafor

                            PHI Receives:
                            Corey Brewer
2018 2nd Round Pick (via DEN)
2019 2nd Round Pick (via MIA)

Expiring veteran leadership, couple second rounders as a trade chip or potential gems and FINALLY GETTING RID OF OKAFOR!
LA gets a scoring big man who’s young enough to develop as a player and if he doesn’t show enough, can be let go at the end of the year

                            Hope I could help!

Lakers receive the dominant big man center, shed Dengs contract, and get a moderately likely first round pick.

Detroit receives a very intriguing prospect PF prospect where they are weak, trade away Drummond who they have grown less than fond of for his effort on the defensive end and free throw shooting, and gets a couple trade chips or potential future players when they blow this whole thing up because the SVG era isn’t working.

                              Or for 3point shooting,

                              LAL Receives:
                              Wayne Ellington

                              MIA Receives:
                              Corey Brewer
2018 2nd Round Pick (via DEN)

A sniper from 3 on a one year deal, who won’t cost much besides a matching expiring in Brewer, who probably isn’t playing much for you, but gives MIA a veteran defensive wing, and a second round pick.

                              Or

                              LAL Receives:
                              Joe Johnson

2020 1st Round Pick (Lottery Protected)

You trade a 3D player in Hart for old Allen? Why?
