Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
The Spurs have no depth at all at PF/C and they have a lot of depth at PG so I understand it from that side of things. They are taking on a lot more Salary for the upcoming year and this move might get them over the luxury tax. The Spurs (especially in 2k) need some youth and Murray is that.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Not to pile on, but I have to agree, the Bulls made out like BANDITS here and showed front office competence for the first time in ... um ... decades? The Spurs, outside of Leonard and Kyle Anderson, are an older team -- Murray is an important piece of their future plans either as a PG or an SG.
Sure, Lopez shores up that spot for a year, but he's an expiring contract, a total free agent in 2019, and also in his late 20s, soon to be 30; it doesn't make sense for San Antonio, especially considering they have Derrick White (a lesser player at 24 and recent 1st round PG from 2017) behind Murray -- now, if you wanted to swing that trade for him, that I might buy; White is a bit of a project, but he could be solid.
San Antonio needs to get younger and the free agent market for centers is plenty full of guys who need jobs (and would take less money to play for the Spurs, seeing as how they're a premiere organization).
On the second trade, just a straight no. Clarkson is not worth a lottery pick in the 2018 or 19 draft; especially considering he's pretty much what he is. A better trade would have been Ingram for that that 9th pick, plus someone the Magic could give up on (say, Hezonja). Ingram has a high value, kid can develop very well.Comment

NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
If I’m at pick 12 and I want to trade back a few spots to say around 15. What else would I be able to get ?
I have the hawks with picks 18, 24 and 29 that could move up.
I have Jarryed Bayless contract (final year 9 million) I would like for move

You could go 12 for 18 and 24 if you want to fill two spots. Would you take on a contract to get another pick? Like move Bayless for someone that has a few years left on their deal but you could get a pick back in exchangeComment

Tough to move up and dump a contract, but 9M is too crazy.

I am not looking to add any picks in this years draft as I don't have the roster spots for them and definitely not the chance of getting playingtime for 2 rookies. If I traded back it would be for the following.
1. A top picks in next years draft
2. Unload Bayless Contract (76 ovr, A+ 3's 1 year at 8.5 million)
I currently have picks 8, 12, 34, 36 and 42
There is one role player (79 ovr) with a bigger contract that I would take on and his team currently has picks 13 and 26.
So with all that said in a perfect world I come away with
1. A top 5 pick next year
2. Move Bayless's contract
3. Get some help at Guard.
I am the 76ers so I have young players / assets to trade like Justin Anderson, TLC, Korkmaz.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Because I stand Lonzo Ball (in-game, or his dad in real life), I need to trade him, and the team that makes the most sense (at least in my eyes) is Atlanta. They'd probably like to get out from Schroder's contract especially where they're in a rebuild. So I was thinking something like this...
Hawks Receive: Lonzo Ball, Corey Brewer
Lakers Receive: Dennis Schroder, Tyler Dorsey, 1st Round Pick, 2nd Round Pick
I don't mind taking on Schroder's contract as I'm not looking to be a big spender in free agency, or at least not on the big names as I want to build around Kuzma, Ingram, and hopefully Lopez if he resigns.Last edited by UNDERTAKER1215; 11-23-2017, 06:36 AM.Boston Red Sox New England Patriots Boston Celtics Boston BruinsComment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
What team would want Terry Rozier or Daniel Theis. Both are buried on my bench. Rozier has played alright with 9 ppg as Kyries backup and has a team option for next year. I just acquired Mudiay who has played nicely and has sent Terry to the bench. I’m likely not to pick up Rozier’s player option.
Theis hasn’t played much due to my depth and signing Spencer Hawes who has been real nice for me. He has 1 more year and 5 M left after this year and is still young.
I would be open for exiting older bench players for my run and picks for them separately, or could package both with a couple of seconds for an upgrade.
Would Mirotic be attainable for that package or is he too pricey? Any suggestions? No real needs position wise.

On other news I am at the 2019 offseason testing stuff, and was able to sign Devin Booker, I then check the suns roster and see Cousins and walker on the roster! What’s with 2k? They could go over the cap to sign their own FA’s lolUser: Silent - BullsNation - SeeRedComment

I am looking for potential landing spots for Tyson Chandler...Am thinking the Kings or the Bucks. Potentially the Warriors. What are some potential ideas I could do involving these teams. I am open to another team if someone else has an idea.Watch me game on Twitch!

Sacramento and Milwaukee already have log jams at center (especially if you're playing pre Monroe-Bledsoe trade) and Golden State doesn't have the contracts to matchComment
