Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
That's going to require a 1st rounder (top-3 protection, maybe top-5) along with Ulis. You'll need to take back the unwanted contract of Miles Plumlee, along with Mudiay and Lyles/Hermangomez.
You're talking two high-potential former 1st round picks and an unwanted contract for (currently) a backup PG and a 1st rounder from yourself.
Honestly, it's a bit much for PHX -- you're not exactly in the playoff race and you're taking away two of Denver's young (and useful) assets. Ulis isn't useless and that 1st you have will likely be conveyed this season (probably at the end of the lottery), which is great for Denver.
But if I'm Denver, I don't feel like risking the team chemistry at this point by moving on from both Mudiay and Lyles/Hermangomez. The playoffs are well-within reach. If they go on a losing streak or suffer a key injury? Yeah, I might pull the trigger on both.
Right now, though, I feel a deal for both is too much for either side.
Now, if you just want Mudiay instead of Lyles/Hermangomez, than the deal I proposed before works fine I think. Mudiay in addition to other former first rounders, though, multiples the value and forces the Suns to toss in a 1st rounder, IMO.Comment

In that case, Ulis+two seconds (unprotected) for Mudiay is totally fine. Ulis is probably a better PG for what Denver would like to do anyway, truth be told. Denver recoups some value for Mudiay, but nothing crazy (as Mudiay is still a project in many ways).Comment

Okay, I think I am going to do Lyles or Hernangomez + a bad contract for Ulis...that leaves me with a hole at PG..obviously I am not going to do another trade for Mudiay. So, I have found some players I like. Reggie Jackson..Spenser Dinwiddie, and Tyler Ennis. What do you think the cost on each of these playes are?Watch me game on Twitch!

Jackson's contract is poor enough that you could probably get away with taking him back, plus Boban and a second rounder from Detroit for, say, Tyson Chandler (his contract lines up); the cap math is questionable there, but Chandler has a deal that comes off the books sooner and you'll relieve Detroit of cap issues moving forward.
Dinwiddie is dirt cheap as far as contracts go and you'll have his bird rights -- the Nets don't necessarily need him (is Lin injured in your game? If so, maybe they do). Again, you could probably trade an unprotected 2nd for Dinwiddie but, considering your Ulis trade, I'd slide away from that and instead ship off an asset the Nets might use -- say Alan Williams (if he's uninjured) or Alex Len. I like the idea of Len for Dinwiddie, as Len is a prospect that's getting not much playtime in Phoenix and who can potentially be developed into something.
Ennis is a straight backup at this point, but you could trade Troy Daniels for him probably. I'd look at Trey Burke too (free agent now), while you're at it -- I've liked him in the past and I've seen him develop (surprisingly) in a few MyLeague's.Comment

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
Okay, so I made the trade, getting Hernangomez and Arthur for Ulis and a 2nd. I also sent Derrick Jones to the Lakers for Tyler Ennis, as I thought it was fair. Jones was 4 years younger, and Ennis wasn't playing. Now my problem is that I have a log jam in the front court. What could I get for Alex Len and Amir Williams? I was thinking Chicago or Orlando, as both could use depth in the front court. What type of return am I looked at?Watch me game on Twitch!

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
So in Year 3 with my Bulls, After trading for DSJr i gave up my starting SF and now the team has like no d, Only Dunn & Ayton are ok at D, 4-11 at the moment, only LaVine is on fire since i run everything by him....Demarcus Cousins just got back from a 2 week Injury.
Ayton is playing great and is leading in Blocks
I wanna trade for a better SF, and Want to Start Ayton over Cousins, i signed him after he signed a 1 year deal with the hawks.
Boston has 4 SF, Hayward, Gay, Tatum & Morris
i would then look to unload Horford if i do make the trade!
Only Hawks and Kings got the cap space to take Horford....i would take a first for him....
Should i make the trade? is it fair? Tatum is playing 18 min a game if i am reading the stats right, he would be starting on my team!
Thanks

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
For me I didn't have Williams or Len re sign with the Suns as it tied up the cap number. The Nets have a lot of guards and could use some big men depth as in year 1 they likely have Carroll or RHJ starting at the 4 and Mozgov at the 5. They have a lot of Guards so without looking at the ratings I would think it would be a pretty even swap for someone like Dinwiddy or Whiteside and both should be listed at PG. Next year Lin will be coming back making the guard minutes even more jammed up. You could also look at Joe Harris (shooter off the bench) and Kilpatrick or Levert (bit more value). All of those guys I named are in the low to mid 70's range.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread
I am 25 games into the season and using the Bulls, I am seriously looking at kickstarting this rebuild and sending away Robin Lopez for some picks and a young guy or two.
The Teams I am thinking of sending him are.
Milwaukee - 13-10 need a starting C in the worse way.
OKC - 16-9 need a big for when Adams is out.
Cavaliers - 18-6 apart from TT they really have no C unless Love slides over.
Celtics - 22-4 this allows them to slide Horford back to the 4.
What would each team be able to offer for to the Bulls, willing to take on salary if it means extra picks.
Also looked at PHI as they are sitting 5th in the easy at around 14-10.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
