If anything, you can try sending him for Tyreke Evans, who is a known trade target right now. You get your scoring/Sixth man role and the Grizzlies somehow have to try and retain smart, and get a great pick in the draft to use a lineup of something like...

    Conley
    Smart
    Brooks
    Bagley
    Gasol.

I may look into Tyreke. First off, Kyrie was out 8-10 weeks. He had about 4-6 left to go. I should have said that. My starters are fine, but my bench has struggled mightily. Besides Morris, no one has really produced. Smart is great defensively and has started for me but has 7.7 PPG. Rozier has 8.1 PPG. One game he scored 20, the next 0. Baynes has stepped up a little, but not a scorer. Theis is more of a defensive player. I had to sign Trey Burke to try and spark my offence but he is also streaky. 19 PPG one game, 5 the next and 1/8.

I am beating the weak teams, but just picked up losses to Philly, OKC, Houston, Cleveland and Indiana. As you can see I am losing to the teams I need to beat to win. Mostly, the games are great, until I sub in the bench, then I am down 10-15. I manage to crawl back and then down again once the starters are out. I have tried mixing up the starters/bench, but that didn’t work either.

I need a more consistent scorer off the bench, who can still play defence and as smart has the most trade value and is a free agent, he makes the most sense to move.

What would i have to give up along Chandler Parsons to get Nicolas Batum? Chalmers and a 2nd round pick? Or a 1st with some sort of protection?

Or what do you think about Parons and Chalmers for George Hill?

Parsons might have the worst contact in the NBA it would take Multi-pile 1st to trade him and maybe even more

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

          So I'm in my third season and just recently traded Alec Burks for Kyle Kuzma because he had been playing terrible for me. Unfortunately my frontcourt has a serious logjam now. Here are my PF's and C's ;

Andre Drummond - 87 - just signed to three year extension at about $27M a year
Willie Reed - 80 - 29 years old making just 1.9 this year. On last year of deal - expected salary is showing around $7M
Kyle Kuzma - 81 - still has one more year on rookie deal
Harry Giles - 78 - still has one more year on rookie deal
Ivica Zubac - 79 - still has one more year at $3M on extension
John Collins - 81 - still has one more year on rookie deal

          Current starting lineup;

          Conley - 83 (78 D Rose backing him up)
          Buddy Hield - 81
          Demarre Carroll - 79
          Collins - 81
          Drummond - 81

Wings off the bench are a 77 rookie and 77 JJ Reddick.

Any recommendations on best way to leverage that frontcourt into improving my team?

I would just look for a team that's has the opposite problem as you with to many guards and trade whatever player you don't like for a rookie with similar overall / potential. It should be pretty easy to find and if one is slight better have the that team throw in a 2nd round pick or two.

I am in year 3 and need to trade Saric is going to want 18 + million per year and I don't wanna pay a backup that kind of money. I don't need any current assets in return just future draft picks. What do yall think his value is ? Remember whoever trades for him will need to sign him to a extension and pay him big $. He only makes like 3 million $ so matching salaries will not be a problem. His grades don't jump out at you, but he is 81 overall (soon to be 82) and only 25 years old.

Thank you so much for this recommendation. I went ahead and traded for Evans. Memphis wouldn't budge on Smart and a 1st rounder, so I bit the bullet and added another 1st. So it was Evans to me for Smart, Grizzlies 19 1st rounder (back to them), 2019 Clippers first rounder.

The Grizzlies got two firsts and a nice young defensive specialist that they can re-sign if they wish. Evans was going to test free agency. I get that player I have been missing all year. I was 1-4 in the 5 games before the trade and since acquiring Evans I have went 5-0. This is without Kyrie and Brown.

These are the lines he has put up since joining the Celtics: (pts-rebs-ast-steal)
19-8-7-3 (29 mins), 20-4-5-3 (30 mins), 26-4-10-4 (33 mins), 29-3-6-0 (29 mins) and 19-6-7-1 (30 mins). He has fit my style of play perfect and I think I can now contend once Kyrie and Brown return!

                Thanks again!

I feel like you should at least be able to get a lotto pick. Kind of depends on where you send him. If he goes to a team that's middle of the pack or contending, but capped out, you should get a 1st and maybe a future pick.

In Year 2 of my Knicks association, Kemba on the trade block on the final year of his deal, has said he's testing free agency:

                  Knicks trade:
                  E. Kanter (79 ovr expiring)
                  PJ Dozier (76 ovr expiring)
                  R. Baker (74 ovr expiring)
                  1st Round Pick (lotto protected)

                  Hornets trade:
                  Kemba Walker (85 ovr expiring)
Marvin Williams (73 ovr 2 yrs 28 mil remaining)

Playing as the Heat this year have started to phase Hassan Whiteside and Justise Winslow our of the rotations. Looking at realistic trade destinations for both and what kinda of value I could get back I’m only looking for draft picks at this stage as the current lineup I’m having great success with running a pace and space offense.

                    Olynyk
                    Johnson
                    Richardson
Ellington/Waiters (depending on who I play I’ll start either)

I just started my league expansion and want to add my favorite player Ivan Rabb to my team. What would be a realistic compensation to get him? would 2nd round pick get him? He is not on active roster for Memphis and it's too early to say who will be good or bad. I want him a piece for my new expansion team, so throw out what be an honest compensation to bring him over. I have no one of value from my expansion to offer for him to be honest. He does have a B potential, but grizzlies have a lot of front court players too.

Bucks need a center, you could try Whiteside for Parker and some combo of Dellevadova / Snell.

Hey guys. I'm in my third season with the Bulls now. I have a nice young core with Dunn (78), LaVine (82), RJ Barrett (79), Markkanen (81) and Ayton (82). Only issue is Dunn wanting about 15 Mio a year for a contract extension. So I'm looking for a new PG in the league.

An option would be Trae Young who was picked 9th by the Jazz in 2018. They're struggling and Young is coming off the bench behind Rubio. He would be a nice fit with his ability from behind the arc and his playmaking. He is 21 with an 78 rating and is not happy about his situation.

So what should I offer? I'm thinking about John Collins (22, 80), as they don't have any good PF, maybe Nik Stauskas (26, 71), as they lack in three point shooting and a second rounder? Would that be fair? Or should I throw in Dunn as he would be avaible anyway?

You could always trade a future lottery protected pick for him since he has B potential. It sounds like your team is going to be bad this year so if you have someone with like B- potential that's a young Guard you could trade him and then your 2nd round pick this year. If you don't think that's fair enough throw in another 2nd
