Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

Looking for realistic trade to get Bledsoe from Suns onto the Nuggets.

    I would be cool with

    Faried
    Mudiay
    2 first rd picks

    For Bledsoe

But i doubt the Suns would do that in real life. I'm thinking they wouldn't trade Bledsoe unless getting back Murray or Harris so i wanted some other peoples opinions.

What would a fair trade look like to get Bledsoe on the Nuggets?

Maybe Faried needs to go to a contender needing rebound help (Celtics maybe?) in a 3 team trade instead.

#2 Play Ben at the 3. I would need 1 3 and D wing and one stretch 4 for depth. The same three wings above fit what I'm looking for again and additionally, I have my eyes on Bobby Portis, Marquese Chriss and DJ Wilson.

I am wiling to give up anyone not named Embiid, Simmons or Fultz to make a deal. I know I could just use the trade finder but I'm trying to beas sim as possible. Any suggestions?
      1.

Roco is a perfect 3 and D guy, then you can have JJ at the 2 (not a D guy, but certainly a 3 guy

      2.

      Roco at SG
      Saric at PF

I don't think you need to make any trades for what you want with the 76ers lol

I am not JJ's biggest fan so I guess should've been clearer about seeing him as the weak link on D(Well, him and Fultz but Fultz is 19). I am specifically looking for someone to replace JJ that will offer similar(or slightly lesser) shooting but much more defense.

I like it DJ can help run the 2nd unit, but i dont think the bulls would give David Nwaba....They will give Payne in a heart beat!

in my save with the bulls ( only team i will ever run lol ) , i wanted to bring in DJ aswell but traded for Copy Joseph....and signed Wade Baldwin IV after he was released ( anyone also cant signed released players? i had to wait the 3 days in order to sign him to a longer and more $ deal ) it didn't let me just pick him up under his released contract.

Zach Lowe of ESPN suggested the following deal:
Phoenix trades Eric Bledsoe to (maybe) the Nuggets

This should happen, even if Bledsoe is (if you wish really hard) young enough at 27 to still be good when the Phoenix kiddos are ready to win. How about Emmanuel Mudiay, Darrell Arthur (present for salary-matching), Juancho Hernangomez and an unprotected Denver first-round pick?

Phoenix has asked for more in the past, but the Suns have to accept the reality of Bledsoe's market. They get a free look at a lottery-pick point guard on their age timeline, a crafty, sweet-shooting combo forward in Hernangomez, and another pick in the quiver.

Denver would miss Hernangomez; they need him to sop up wing minutes. Tough. Every upgrade comes at a cost. Any three-for-one deal would put the Suns over the roster limit, but they have easy avenues to address that.

Bledsoe would give Denver at least two plus defenders in its starting five. He's not the cleanest fit on offense with Jokic, but he can adapt; a team relying on Bledsoe to run every possession isn't going anywhere, anyway. He's big enough to defend some wings and play alongside Jamal Murray, unlocking more small-ball lineups.

Bledsoe would swell Denver's 2018-2019 tax bill, but they have almost two years to unload a big salary -- Kenneth Faried, Mason Plumlee (on a fat new deal despite negative leverage!) or perhaps even Wilson Chandler next season if Chandler picks up his option.

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

After playing through a few more weeks, I think I found a decent trade.

Pistons Recieve: SF James Ennis - 72 ovr, SF Rade Zagorac - 70 ovr, 2018 2nd Round (Swap Worst)

Grizzlies Receive: SF Stanley Johnson - 73 ovr, PG Dwight Buycks - 66 ovr, 2018 2nd Round (Swap Best)

My logic is that Ennis and Johnson are on similar contracts (expiring deals at 3.03 M and 3.10 M). Stanley was moved from starting to the bench and Ennis was taken out of the rotation after some early struggles. Stanley fits the grit and grind mentality of the Grizzlies and Ennis gives the Pistons some athleticism and shooting off the bench. Grizzlies are 10-22 so they might want to take a look at a younger player and the Pistons are .5 games away from the 9 seed. It's essentially a year long rental for both teams, and Zagorac and Buycks are just throw-ins who don't get much PT. I gave myself the best pick in the swap bc I'm giving up the youngest player in the trade, Stanley is 21 and Ennis is 27. Your guys thoughts?

Re: NBA 2K18 - Trade Discussion Thread

What's a realistic package for the 76ers to get Avery Bradley? I'm trying to peg a true value for him. He's on a cheap contract (about $8 million) but he's a free agent at the end of the year. I think the Pistons will end up moving him around the deadline IRL because they're going to be worse than they think. I think they'll trade him to the highest bidder because they don't want to pay a "big 3" of Drummond, Jackson, and Bradley. They'll be looking for a return of young, cheap players and/or draft picks.

From the 76ers perspective, they definitely have the assets to get this deal done. It's just a question of how much it would realistically take. 3 and D wings are super valuable, and bringing in Bradley will give me the inside track at re-signing him at the end of the year. In free agency, I'll likely have to choose between him and Covington if I want to leave enough cap space to try to sign Paul George, but that's a good problem to have. I think this team is talented enough to make a run at a top 4 seed with the right addition, and Bradley could be that guy. Here's where I'm at with my assets:

                    Untouchables
                    Markelle Fultz
                    Ben Simmons
                    Joel Embiid

                    Assets I'm Willing to Trade
                    2018 1st Round pick (76ers)
                    2018 1st Round Pick (Lakers - Top 5 protected)
                    2018 2nd Round pick x 3 (Nets, Knicks & 76ers)
                    Dario Saric
                    Richaun Holmes
                    Jahlil Okafor
                    Justin Anderson
                    Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot
                    Nik Stauskus
                    Kurkan Korkmaz

Interestingly enough, in a random season sim I did today, Bradley chose to sign with the 76ers (controlled by the CPU) in free agency, so I feel like I'm on a realistic path here.

All suggestions are welcome to help me get my guy for a fair price!

Bulls Pulled off a Big Offseason Sign and Trade with the Sun's

Bulls Traded Demarcus Cousins + Paul George

Suns Traded Devin Booker, Dragan Bender ( Did not played all of 2017, no idea why )

Bulls stay young, Pair Booker with Dunn + LaVine

But the odd part is, when i went to sign two vets

Manu Ginobili was a FA lol Never has that happen in others saves.... vince carter and Manu are my Vets.

If I was a floundering Pistons willing to move Bradley, here’s what I would offer up

Sixers Trade: Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor, 2018 1st Round Pick (76ers)

Pistons Trade: Avery Bradley, 2019 2nd Round Pick

Sixers get AB, one of their favorite assets they can use or flip in a future trade, and finally get rid of Jahlil Okafor. Pistons get a young, cheap stretch 4 who won’t clog the paint alongside Drummond, a young center they may as well take a flier on if they’re tanking and see if he can be a backup, and a mid teens to mid twenties first rounder.

I think it’s pretty fair TBH. Grizz get a SF fitting team mentality and able to take Parsons minutes when he gets injured again lol, and Pistons go for a more offensive minded vet to help the playoff push. I’m a fan great job

I think a guy who would be realistic and still potentially worth something on a rookie contract is Thomas Bryant. Needs work, but a hustle player and tough rebounder. Could be a good backup to WCS in the future. I don’t think the Lakers would be willing to part with the others, but I really like Bryant and think he can be something if given the reps.

On the WCS Trade front, I was thinking maybe something like

Kings Trade: Willie Cauley Stein, 2020 2nd Round Pick

Bulls Trade: Bobby Portis, Diamond Stone, 2019 Lottery Protected 1st Round Pick

Bulls get their man, and a possible trade chip in the 2nd rounder. Kings can move Skal down to the 5, Portis can start over Randolph or get starter level minutes at the 4 and become the man their or the 6th man behind Harry Giles if he gets healthy. Taking a flier on a young gun at the C with Stone. Heavily protected 1st most like not converting just to “sweeten” the deal for Kings. I could be way off on the values but I do my best

How did you go about this? If i ignore the owner’s request, will i get fired or will he force a trade? If i give up someone, who’s the best one i can move? thanks!

From what I hear, if u don’t trade for the person, they will do it for you. As for who to trade, no idea really!!!! All Celtics are consider untouchable to their GM Sooo lol

I think you should get their 2nd outright without the swap due to Johnson being the best prospect and still having potential to improve. Ennis is what he is at this point and Zagorac could be too much of a project.

Assuming Detroit is completely out of the running for a playoff spot, then Bradley would be a great fit for the 76ers, especially since Redick is just on a one year deal, so they can use that money for AB in the offseason. With that said, I feel like including Saric in a deal for AB would be an overpay, especially since it could just be a rental. I would do the following:

Okafor and one of TLC, Anderson, Korkmaz or a lottery protected 1st. If you're feeling generous include a 2nd too, however I believe that two young players is enough for AB.... and I love AB too by the way.

You could say that last year, but now that they have a team that has four players returning from a team that had the best record in the East and made it to the ECF, then you can't say that anymore.
