It's apparent to me that 2k is not aware of most problems. Like they don't play the game and there's no game testing.

The other day someone mentioned to Mike Wang on twitter about the squad invites not working the first time and having to send multiple invites to every person.
He started asking questions about when and how often.
It's every single time that you try to invite anyone and if you've ever invited someone to a squad even once you'd know that it's a problem.

I don't mean to knock the devs, because minus a few problems both minor and major, this game has the potential to be the greatest basketball sim there has ever been.

Well Mike Wang is a gameplay dev. Not a UI person or whatever that would be. But I agree they need more aware ppl on the roster. Wang is pretty good tho. >.>

Yeah this needs to be fixed ASAP because I like to play on absolute but the damn thing keeps resetting every time.

haha Good luck with that. There are one or two options every year that cannot be saved. last year ace got activated every game and you had to Pause to deactivate it AT the beginning of each game. the year before AI defensive help Was set to 50 and shot contest to automatic every time

I play on absolute controls, but the game will randomly switch it to camera relative all the time for whatever reason. It did this last year as well. I don't think I've seen anyone mention it on here, but it's annoying and deserves to be addressed.

Change it in the option because that’s what I have done and it does kept my settings but what I’ll tell you if you notice something strange before the game starts it’s usually a glitch that reset everything I don’t know how.


You’re correct pappy for some reason when the game goes into demo mode it does reset the controls from absolute to camera relative. So if you don’t want it reset don’t let the game go into demo mode.

I can get my controller settings to save, but I can't get ace to stay off for PNO even when I change it from the main menu settings and in MyLeague settings. Playbook changes also don't save but that's a whole other issue.

that is a legacy issue. last year ACE got Turned on again, too. I already contacted 2k Support to report the Bug and after messing around with them for a week they finally believed that the Problem is Not on my Side...

In MyTeam, when the settings "re-set," they don't don't necessarily change back to game defaults. They can vary and, it seems, that it's not re-set to game defaults, but to the settings used by one's last online opponent, perhaps more/only when one is the road team.

I've just gotten to the point where I check my Controller settings before every game.

Yea this thing been ongoing for years. Every time. I use different passing settings so I gotta reset it every time.

This didn't seem to be a problem last year for me, but I only played MyNBA. if you just play that single mode do the changes stick?

No, I think it's specific to MyPlayer stuff but not entirely sure. It definitely doesn't matter if you only stick to one mode.

I know I'm late to the party but I had to ask this.

I bought 2k22 on switch not long ago and my controller settings wouldn't save. The game has been out for a long time so I was shocked it hadn't been fixed yet but being it was the Switch maybe patch support was an afterthought like a lot of of other games on that platform.

I was looking for a solution on the internet and ran in to a thread on Reddit that a couple users had narrowed the problem down to the internet provider they were using. That made zero sense to me. Why would an internet provider have anything to do with controller settings not saving? They were pretty convinced and adamant about it being the problem in that thread but no one could explain it. I thought it was nonsense to be honest.

So fast forward a few weeks and I head up to my summer place for the weekend and my controller settings saved every time. EVERY TIME. I get home Monday and fire up my switch and the settings had reverted back to default. My internet at my cabin is a different provider. WTF?

So either that's a massive coincidence or the internet provider theory is legit. My mind is kind of blown and I simply can't wrap my head around why that would possibly be.

I would absolutely love any insight from anyone who knows anything about why that might be so maybe I can fix this on my home network.
