Then the guard needs pass. If everyone is chasing the ball handler somebody is open somewhere. You say you do need to ball hog to get this, but it sounds like your guard isn't paying attention to the floor and isn't passing when a bad situation is incoming. That's not the game's fault.

Yeah this...most of the online guys play 2k cam so it should be easy to icon pass it out. Half of the complaints I've noticed are online play where everyone plays hero ball...people not adjusting or MOSTLY user error. Old bad habits need to change and people need to adapt.

No one wants to adapt. That's the problem. That's where all the "This doesn't work" threads are from. 2k actually changed stuff for the first time in 3 iterations.

Exactly! I think these my Park guys just want to catch a ball. And go one on one. And basically hold the ball down. And dribble the air out.

They've been unrealistic for the last three games. Especially when playing the cpu. The "live ball" feature is a complete joke when the cpu knows it can run into you and take the ball without attempting to try to reach for a steal, yet the cpu dribble through you and not lose the ball. And 2K will apparently never fix this.

You're absolutely correct! it's one thing for a user to actually go for the steal but literally ball handlers are just losing the ball because the defender runs into you.

I'm going based on what you just said. You painted whoever is holding the ball during this "rush" as a person who can't recognize when to get rid of it. Perhaps elaborate more, or don't be upset when we assume the wrong thing.

Bump steals that are OK....When users pass into traffic or turbo into defenders.

Bump steals THAT ARE NOT OK: When the the defender turbos into the ball-handler.

Yup this is the first game like itself. Especially with the ability to hit contested jumpers (which they finally got right). The last 3 years were contested bricks by hot players. Now their ratings actual matter in the situation. Now face up games open up.

Actually, we do, hence the reason why we're not complaining about double and triple teams. Someone is always open.

I said previously sometimes you don't even have the time to press any button it's already a turnover
5 people with speed maxout spamming turbo steals and chasing every pass that's not like the head to head mode
but I will capture these situations and post some gifs asap.

The crazy part is that I played against a team last night who bum rushed the inbounds pass on every possession in walk-on ProAm. By coincidence, we went with a crazy strategy. I have a 7'2" rim protecting/post scoring center. However this ended up happening in this matter, but my team would inbound the ball to me in the backcourt, and the perimeter players would go streaking up the court. OBVIOUSLY being the center, the other team COULDN'T resist the urge to try to double team and strip me in the backcourt. Needless to say, that was my best assist and hockey assist game to date .

Well, that's your team's stupid fault for passing the ball to you where the double team can close on you so quickly. It's ALSO your team's fault for not coming back to the ball to give the inbounder additional passing targets.

Please do on the Gifs. But here's you're problem: Hyperbolizing. If 5 guys are chasing every pass, then move the ball. Touch passing is a thing. If you pass to a guy, and 5 guys bee line at him, he should be passing it before even catching the first pass.

So please post gifs, it will definitely help determine if the game isn't working or someone just isn't playing well. I'm not speaking in terms of head to head, either. I play pro am and park primarily

tbh bump steals haven't been a huge issue for me this year . esp compared to last year!!!!!
