Re: Stop complaining about not making 50%+ wide open 3s
I think this is the problem. How does the 2K Ratings team make Shooting Play types in MyCareer meaningful with how they start out with low ratings while making bad shooters being able to hit the occasional 3. I know Andre Roberson made 3's in the Playoffs and probably had better %'s than regular season.
How do you balance a bad sharpshooter(60 Ovr) and Andre Roberson's 3pt ratings?76 6"6" 180lbs Sharpshooting Playmaking SF

This year, if they sag off, I will literally step into a 3. My primary mode is "attack the rim", but I can cash out clean looks to keep the D honest this year. And I don't just mean corners, I'm getting green in the corner, coming off pin downs to the top of the key. FFS, I pulled from the hash mark last night just to see what'd happen. Splash.
Granted I'm taking 4-5 a game. But I'm around 40-50% off that many looks. With 66 in open 3pt.
In the "We can't dunk" threads, I was told I come off as thinking I'm superior to others. It's not that: I see what my player is capable of currently. If you up dunks, or 3s and make him more consistent, he will be beyond broken. Then I think: "I'm going to be OP, what will a class that is designed for this specific action look like".
I'm basing my comments and decisions on balance overall for everyone, not the SELFISH DESIRE TO HIT EVERY SHOT.
