Re: Players Who Outperform Their Ratings

I don't think players outperform their ratings lol. Just look at their skills and badges and you'll see why their so good.

Michael Beasley is only a 75, but easily one of the best scorers in 2K, just like in real life he's a great per minute scorer. He has strong scoring attributes and badges.

...just wait for the season-openers and roster-updates...I'm sure, some overrrated-guys will fall and some underrated guys will raise....

why 2k didn't release the game in october? because the publishers are too greedy....

to sum it up...we have good gameplay with flaws, but the rest is broken!

I feel like the Bucks are just completely unfair in 2k... If only it was the same way IRL...

Thon Maker as others have said is great for PnP and also in the paint.

Khris Middleton can shoot the lights out from 3 and is a valuable contributor on both ends.

I'm listing Bucks due to them being the main team I play with.

Thon Maker is a matchup nightmare... that Bucks team is a fun team to play with indeed!

As a die hard 76ers fan and avid post game lover, I can confirm this.

Offensively, he's borderline rigged - you just have to user him on defense quite often against another user to lessen his defensive liabilities.

I never understand this type of thread.

Usually you look at OVR ratings, but then talk about how players perform well in certain attributes in which they rate high in.

"JR Smith doesn't miss." (Well look at his shot ratings).

"Zach Lavine dunks everything" (Well he has a high dunk rating).
                            Concrete evidence/videos please

I think they mean consistency. JR is known to be extremely streaky. If you're hitting just about everything, every time you shoot with him, you'd think he's doing better than what gotta ratings suggest. Zach Lavine is a athletic freak, but if you're getting 25ppg (just throwing that out a random number) from him, you'd think he was Kobe, outperforming his ratings.

Why you gotta be so negative ? And not only that but wrong. No one mentioned JR never missing. And they also added lavine shoots jumpers at a hight rate. Either contribute positively or dont comment..
