Lol what is there to compare NBA 2k to? Live hasn’t cut it for years.

I noticed some people getting stuck on 46% while loading into walk on pro am. It happened about 3 out of the 7 times. Didn’t have any issue getting 3-4 people in prior to the patch.

The CAP improvements sound promising, can't wait to check it out.

Meh. Just some more beards/stubble, ability to change eyebrows and eye colour (stuff that was in 2k10). Same "fixed" faces though. Damn, i was hoping for some more presets.

I guess it's official, 2k18 is not the year of the CAP.

Also, didn't really notice any difference with the weight/body thing.

Patch seems to have done more damage to my league... sigh

At the end of the first offseason , Kevin Durant, Isaiah Thomas, DeAndre Jordan, Enes Kanter and Derrick Rose all sitting there at the start of the season..

At least before the patch, all superstars and players above 80 overall signed with a team before the season started.

This is incredibly disappointing. I remember this being a problem in previous years, and it was fixed this year. Now we’re back to superstars signing for cheap, 1 year deals and being free agents again the next offseason.

What a serious bummer

Lakers signed KD for 1yr/1.48 million
76ers signed I.T. for 1yr/5.94 million
Wizards signed DeAndre Jordan for 1yr/5.94 million

Seems like that cap hold “fix” they implemented just did more damage than good

Man this is garbage, game plays well but many game modes are so broken. Cue the 'gameplay is best this year,stop complaining' posts...'guys Call Of Duty plays so well now stop complaining that Team Deathmatch is BROKEN', sounds kinda dumb in that context huh?

So in your opionion layup should be automatic ? just dont release the shot botton or stick at the start of the animation it's not that difficult

That's NOT what I'm saying and the fact that that is what you got from what I said makes me question your reading comprehension... I literally asked why they just don't have the layup meter in the game since it randomly shows up anyway... It would greatly help... At least give us the option to turn a meter on as a visual aid like the shot meter... Nowhere did I beg to make it automatic... They lied about the timing... I wish I had the tweet from mike wang but I don't don't personally use twitter... He himself said that layup "timing" shouldn't penalize you... You just get a boost if you release at the vibration... when that has been proven wrong over and over by the game itself... Step ypur reading comprehension up... I've even seen the meter glitch out when I do try to time it

this for sure has been mentioned, but anyone notice those sporadic moments when a player gets superman speed and seems to go into warp from one frame to the next? Where a guy seems to go from like the top of the key to the paint within a millisecond? Kinda like a flash gordon moment?

I have not had a issue with layups at all if any thing on default layups are to easy had to turn layup down slightly.



I am not going to say no game is perfect because that is just a silly thing to say and sounds like making excuses for things. Yes I do see clipping but all games have some and I don't see more then most games. Most of the time I only see clipping if I go into replay mode and watch in slow motion. I skipped 17 so I am not sure about the lighting but this years game looks better then 15 and 16 after I thought the games graphics went backwards after 14 and is the best looking sports game I have ever seen. I have seen zero clipping on accessories zero. I hear people talk about the microtransactions but is that only for mycareer or something because I don't see any really in like the franchise modes?



Before this year I would have kind of agreed with you about the game stalling but this years game is easily the best 2k game I have played and I am not even like a 2k fan really. Yeah I have played like nba 2k 9-12 and like 14-16 or something but never found any of them even close to has good and fun has this.

I've seen the clipping in the accessories constantly so idk what to tell you... And the microtransactions are affecting the game as a whole whether you want to believe so or not... The modes that have heavy microtransactions tend to get the most support because that's where the money lies and that negatively affects the franchise modes... They obviously focused more on the park and myteam which is why mygm and myleague are the worst modes in the game with all of the issues that still plague them... Over 4 patches and both franchise modes are still unplayable... 2k usually releases a broken game but this year it seems worse than last year... I'm not complaining just to complain... This game has SOOOO much potential and its maddening that it's so broken in a lot of fundamental areas... I'm not even against microtransactions... But the way 2k is going about it is becoming a huge turn off... Plenty of other companies are doing the microtransaction business model correctly and it's frustrating 2k is doing it the way that they are... Mygm and myleague are unplayable and at this point this game is unplayable until it gets fixed in probably the next 2 or 3 patches... And this game is gonna have as many patches as last year... We had like 4 patches by this time last year... And I'm not complaining about layups being too hard... It would just help consistency if the meter was just visible... It already shows up whenever it wants to... The vibration feature does not function like they said it would and the meter would just be nice to see... Just give people the option to have it or not like the shot meter... It's really not that difficult to pull off... It should be way easier than implementing that weak CAP update

So, you're telling me....if I select "MyGm/MyLeague" or "MyCareer" from the main screen, the mode isn't going to load? I'm just stuck with Play Now and MyTeam only? Is that what you're telling me?
