I'm pretty sure it's in your head because the game speed was not effected at all.

Looks more speedy to me. PC version is not patched yet so I can compare both. I'm not worried though since this always happens. Next popup update will bring the speed back to normal.

They added all the new jerseys and shoes to existing MyLeagues, except the BBBs, wich is understandable i guess, since it's a new shoe brand. But yeah that's great news.

You don't have to, I was just offering solutions. I only play MyLeague so can't speak for other modes. I honestly feel people take for granted the options you are given with this game. No game will ever be perfect too much complex coding involved.

Sir that's garbage because you HAVE TO micromanage the game just to get it to play decently... That brag all the damn time about how realistic the game is... Yet you have to micromanage everything just to even get it to work... That's a FAILURE OF GAME DESIGN if I have to micromanage everything just to cover for the brain dead ai... This game is supposed to be the hallmark of sports videogames and yet it fails on so many of the most fundamentals parts of the game... At this point its like a gold plated turd in a lot of areas... Yeah we have options but the amount of excuses you guys are coming up with to cover for this broken *** mode is ridiculous 😂... What about mygm? You can't do any of these workarounds which makes it utterly useless... I'd love to play through the story but its BROKEN... If you have to skip a mode all together because it doesn't function properly then the game is BROKEN

One thing you can do is turn hard cap off and turn the contract maximum all the way up. You have to control all 30 teams and have some discipline but you can sign players to realistic destinations.

One shouldn't have to do that but it is an option

Seriously? I’m pretty confident that anyone will notice Paul George, Kevin Durant, Isaiah Thomas and other high rated players just sitting in free agency at the beginning of the season.

Casual players aren’t stupid, even they know how the NBA offseason works...

And you wouldn’t have given it a second thought? So just screw realism and throw that out the window?

We all just love Paul George signing a one year deal with the suns

Or Kevin Durant signing and meager one year deal with the Pacers.

I think casuals and die hards would take huge notice to that.

It’s okay to enjoy the game and still realize major flaws.

I have not even gotten that far yet.....I fully assume this will be patched by the time I get to my first off-season. I play ever single minute of all 82 games and the post season.

I am not too worried this will be an issue and it will be fixed.

If for some reason this is not fixed......I am willing to deal and work around it if I have too. I am hopeful it is a fixable situation. Because if it was working as intended pre-patch....they will be able to identify what caused it post patch 1.04.

Flat out fantastic game regardless. And I can easily play single season classic team MyLeagues for years and be content. That's how amazing the game is this year.

Armor have you came across that moment of the cpu getting warp speed powers to get a drive to the basket? That's the most glaring glitch I've seen after the patch .Unless it was there before. Other than that, I really like the flow on the court. Just some weird quirkyness like that kind of breaks the flowe a bit though...

Again, never said it wasn’t a fantastic game, it is. But at the same time I’m not going to pretend this problem doesn’t exist.

I don’t have time to play every game of the season , so I like to sim most of the time and play in the playoffs.

The free agency problem is a huge issue, and like you, I’m confident it will be fixed, but, I won’t pretend like the issue doesn’t exist. Amazing gameplay, and overall my leauge is fantastic, but the free agency issue is a real buzzkill

No, in 3 games I have not seen that yet. But will keep an eye on it as well.

I am not a huge fan of game-play patches and I felt 2K went insanely overboard last year....I shelved 2K17 fast.....to me it was a mess. This game is console basketball Utopia. I pray they simply stick to their guns and keep this game as sim as possible. Right now....I can't stop playing. It is that game where you simply say....."one more" game. I can easily play three straight games in a single sitting.....only one other game does that for me (MLBTS17).

I've done this warp speed myself....its unnatural to say the least. You don't even have to press turbo as it just happens. I haven't seen the cpu do it to me though....

These problems did exist pre-patch, but the fixes from the patch to broken renouncing of cap holds has probably made teams use more of their cap so that there is less room for free agents. And since free agent market prices are static based on players' OVR/POT/AGE, the free agents are inflexible with contract demands.

So by the end of free agency, without enough team cap space for them, they are unsigned. Then the logic says, oh crap, these guys are unsigned, so some workaround logic that is a few years old will allow these guys to sign for minimum deals.

So none of this is new. It's just more visible now that there are new cap and signing options in the game based on the implementation of more of the CBA. Combine that with inflated player ratings that make guys sign for max or near max prices only during free agency and basically no cap management logic for the CPU and this is the result.

I don't expect this to be patched because it's too deep. The best way to manage this is with a combination of 30 team control and ratings adjustments across the league. One quick way to affect those ratings is just to drop Intangibles to 25, the minimum, for everyone. It will hack adjust down league wide overall ratings and therefore soften contract demands a bit. It will take more than that to balance the league and avoid these screwed up contracts but it should help a bit. And oh yeah, turn Hard Cap off.

The game plays about the same to me post patch. Which is good as I don't have any glaring issues with the on court gameplay. Glad the ML fixes are in now. That qualifying offer resetting almost cost me Kristaps in my Knicks ML. I manage all the big free agent decisions for the Lebrons and KDs anyway so that being wonky isn't a huge deal to me though it should be improved. I opt those guys to extensions during the playoffs or, if I want them to move teams, I just give them a one year deal with their current team and force trade them to a team I think they'd go to and give them appropriate contracts in the offseason. Its pretty easy with a 3 team trade (i just swap second round picks to make everything valid). I only do that for the huge names, the rest I let them fall where they may in free agency.

Your ACE OTF Menu doesn't stick, it changes all the time and you don't know what scheme you're in because it is unstable. I have been talking about this since day one of NBA 2K17 and the devs stated they couldn't patch it after 11 patches of 2K17. When the prelude started, I made a video of ACE OTF doing he same things and they acknowledge it is a problem and will try to fix it, but hasn't as of late. Again you think you're calling the shots, you are not, that is why the majority of people just use Def. Settings.

With all due respect man, I’m not sure if you know how it’s suppose to work.

If ace is on, it’s suppose to change throughout the game. So yes, it’ll change the settings you select throughout the game because it’s adjusting(matchups, POE’s). However, if you turn it off, it will not change your ACE settings throughout the game.

Probably like you, I adjust EVERYTHING prior to the game starting, and you are indeed correct that 2K17 ACE menu didn’t show you your selection. Now it does, and it doesn’t change.

Unless I am misunderstanding how it functions, you are bashing 2K for fixing something that you wanted fix so badly. Cheers
