2k needs to do a major patch for offline gamers for myleague/mygm. I know their focus is money but this can't be ignored like this. Mygm is completely ruined.

i have yet to buy 2k18 was hoping to pick it up today after this patch yesterday , but looks like alot of issues still there with game. Going to wait more, i hope people speak up @ 2k so they can do more . I see allot of pissed off people.

A question, for example: If I just leave ACE on, and I set some settings on defense and offense, like shrink the floor and play through james harden, Will the cpu changes my settings at the run of the game ?

Yes, it will still change those things. That’s what ACE controls.


The only thing I am unsure of is it effects your defensive settings. I turn it off just to be on the safe side.

I didn't have the problem of those players sitting in Free Agency...I had them sitting there and signing on the final day to odd teams. KD Signed a 2 year 58 million contract with the Hawks, Thomas a 1 year 28 mil deal with the Knicks, and Chris Paul signed a 2 year 55 mil deal with the Suns.

KD in particular was asking for over 40 million a year as his asking price. I think part of the issue is the asking price for some of these guys is so damn high and they refuse to budge on it.

Although we probably would never see this.....the storylines I can come up with with these kind of signings would be fun and shake the balance of the league up.

I honestly don't get crazy about those things. It is a virtual universe and if KD leaves the Warriors....so be it. Parity in the league would actually help. The last several years have been so melodramatic if you are not a fan of the Cavs or Warriors.

But that is just me.

Oh i'm not stressing about it in particular, since they signed to decent money deals. If anything i'm going to track the CPU teams signings and adjust the money accordingly.

Can anyone confirm if this fixed the glitch where the game freezes and crashes when you are an Elite or higher team editing your ProAm uniforms?

Sir that's garbage because you HAVE TO micromanage the game just to get it to play decently... That brag all the damn time about how realistic the game is... Yet you have to micromanage everything just to even get it to work... That's a FAILURE OF GAME DESIGN if I have to micromanage everything just to cover for the brain dead ai... This game is supposed to be the hallmark of sports videogames and yet it fails on so many of the most fundamentals parts of the game... At this point its like a gold plated turd in a lot of areas... Yeah we have options but the amount of excuses you guys are coming up with to cover for this broken *** mode is ridiculous ��... What about mygm? You can't do any of these workarounds which makes it utterly useless... I'd love to play through the story but its BROKEN... If you have to skip a mode all together because it doesn't function properly then the game is BROKEN

I don't make excuses, you were complaining and moaning and groaning and I made a suggestion , if you don't like my suggestions go play NBA LIVE franchise mode. If you have the tools to fix an issue or issues, then fix them. If you choose not to that is your decision.

As I said earlier complicated coding goes into these games, which is over my head, but it seems it is very volatile and fixing one thing can lead to another issue popping up. So Yes I will deal with and work around the issues if it keeps from getting a more serious truly game breaking issue that their isn't a work around for.

Maybe if they didn't have to have so many different modes to make this entitled generation happy they could focus on fixing the issue.

So in your opionion layup should be automatic ? just dont release the shot botton or stick at the start of the animation it's not that difficult

for a NBA giant sized player with giant sized hands. if you get to the rim without being heavily contested. a layup is like 80 to 90% automatic. This game will have you blowing layups at times like you're a 5th grader. no one blows layups like that at the pro level. it just doesnt happen. so why make, making layups more difficult than it really should be? makes no sense.

Is it me but after the patch the colors now look washout? I have a 4k tv and the pro but the colors are not popping out for some reason..

Still cannot sub or skip timeouts when playing private teamups with buddies. Very annoying to just sit there a minute everytime when cpu calls a timeout.

You said it right there, Nothing should be automatic. This game is about to be awol in a minute. 2k needs to do something different about giving out these patches. Every year with this BS people yap about when others don't have these.

I may end up simply raising the cap to adjust for this if need be. That can work too correct?

main problem with that is that contract demands/rules are proportional. Meaning that a higher cap also makes the contract demands go up as well as raises the numbers for max-contracts. So it's at best a short-term solution.
