Why don't we just have the game start, press circle (or B), put the controller down and have the ratings and badges decide the game...Seems to be in-line with what the 2k community want.

FML...this game is the only thing that keeps me sane given all the **** I'm dealing with IRL. Yeah, I know...TMI.

This is the stuff that worries me. Is this across all game modes? Just park/my player specific? Only Online? Other?

I predominantly play offline and I've had no issues in terms of shooting and layup success rate. If anything I could see a slight decrease to success, not an increase.

My concern has been that people will complain about issues (I can't make layups, I can't make shots, I don't get any greens, etc) but not specify where or under what circumstances they are seeing these problems and in order to fix these issues 2K makes game wide changes. Take missed layups for example. I haven't really had any complaints with the success rate playing offline on all-star difficulty. Maybe it's different on other difficulties or in other games modes. Complaints about success rates in my Park or my player shouldn't translate over to other modes.

People need more details, "I keep missing layups in my Park with my player that is rated X and has *these* archetypes." More than likely it'll be an online slider adjustment, so it should only affect PNO, MyPark, and ProAm.

And that's the other part of it too. How many of these complaints are from people that aren't actively looking for ways to improve their playstyle or my player. For example I can complain that defense is too hard and that it is near impossible to guard defenders 1 on 1. Or I can look up how to defender better or ways to improve my player to be better equipped to defend 1 on 1.

I feel like a lot of people encounter struggles and look towards the game developer to make the game easier for them instead of looking at themselves and seeing how they can adapt to the game.

My assumption is that it is a result of Twitter. That's likely where the majority of complaints come from and that is usually the loudest and most vocal crowd, making it seem like the majority of the community feels the same way

Layups I get or at least just tweak some of the animations, I shouldn't consistently miss open fast break layups (85 layup) but the threes??? Noooo!!
