    This is what happens when you have posts on here that reads "nba players should NOT miss layups!!" Meanwhile I'm sitting in my man cave watching an opening night game (cavs vs. celtics) full of missed layups! Pretty sure game 2 of this double header will have plenty of missed layups as well but on 2k's twitter page ALL LAYUPS SHOULD BE AUTOMATIC...are you kids serious?? WOW!!! Rant over...lol

      Luckily for me I'm still enjoying the game OFFLINE...cpu still giving me a realistic challenge on SS/HOF with tweaks to pass speed only.

        The kind of person to complain about layup success doesn't watch the NBA, he watches XxThaPointGAWDDxX2 on youtube

            It’s not really more green releases. The patch caused there to be less green releases and this fix is just setting them back to where they originally were

                    The notion that 2K reacts to the whims of YouTubers seems a bit fanciful to me. It's much more likely these decisions are backed by data/analytics (surely).

                      I've started this thread a lot earlier when first change been made below;

                      I wished i had been wrong and was just a bit fast on jumping conclusions yet i don't see now that i was wrong and here we are...

                      Why beluba? I don't know when and why Mike Wang started to get feedback from twitter... Sad...

                      Also below is a statement from himself as far as i can see and i remember something like that so i put it down as i took from his tweet response, if wrong my bad i would delete it if he didn't tell a such thing.. why promise if you can't hold..

                        Can we please leave the automatic green releases for the MyCareer fans?

                        Leave it the way it is for us Sim guys offline. If we want to make layups at a high clip, we will increase the sliders.

                        Thanks, Beluba.

                          Has anyone tested it online? I had no issues with layups and i don't play online so it doesn't bother me unless layups are easier across the board. Thanks in advance

                            You sure 2k makes their decisions backed by data/analytics...? They cant even save controller settings correctly...[emoji90]

                              They are just putting it back to how it was (greens). They stealth nerfed most of the jumpers to cut the green window in half.

                              I'm prepared to call 2K straight up liars. I feel that is fair due to the proof and facts of 2K saying they didn't mess with shooting, then they post they are going to put it back how it was. If they didn't change it what are they going "back" to?

                              All they have to do is list whats in the updates. But they don't. My theory is they want to see if what they "fixed" is actually fixed before they say it is. They want to nerf stuff without their "Community Manager" talking to the community. They don't want to publicize how broken it is/was, what glitches, etc were/are in game.

                                Timing layups is a skill. And just like in 17 when people couldn't get instant gratification it gets changed. All they had to do was bring the meter back so people could have a tool to use to get better.
