It has actually gotten worse for me.
I notice if I call for a pick, and try to set myself up for a momentum crossover over that pick, my player will actively work to put the ball in the hand closest to the pick.
The worst is when I try to just take one or two steps to create some space before I try to input the momentum crossover. The game will read my input for the momentum crossover but when the computer makes me switch ball hands my guy ends up doing a hesitation instead. This is the type of stuff that gets you ripped online.
It reminds me of how the double crossover was broken when 17 first came out. You'd input a "left right" move on your RS and you'd end up doing a Crossover into a hesitation. I remember having to take a mental note that if I wanted to do a double crossover like that I'd have to actually input a crossover and then a hesitation.
Dribbling feels broken this year.
