I'm really wanting to know the available archetypes. I'm really torn as to which kind of player I'm going to want to emulate from my own characters as it would make absolutely no sense to play something I'm not used to.
However, this brings up a new issue. Are people going to be able to equip custom animations like jumpers, dunks, dribbles, and post moves? If we're completely limited in these situations then I feel it will hinder interest from most good players. I'm not under the impression I'm one of the best, I doubt I'll be drafted. But I'd like to have a fair shake at this just like everyone else. If they're open try outs, they need to be open.
The other side of that coin is these are meant to be "stock" players. If that's so, I at least need to be able to practice. And if we're recording everything, I really don't need my first footage ever in this combine being wasted on getting a "feel" for my character.
I'm mostly interested in the archetypes tho. If I can't play pure point I need to have some type of playmaker, or at least a decent dribbling wing to facilitate. I'm not the best point guard because I like to move the ball too much. In smaller doses I'm more effective if I'm already establishing myself as a threat to score. These kinds of builds need to be available. Versatility is my whole game. If I'm on a stock sharp, or stock athletic, I can't be very multi dimensional. If they need glue guys, I may have a shot. If they're looking for one dimensional players I'll never stand a chance.
