Has anyone figured out which moving shot animation 2K assigned to small forward sharpshooting shot creators? I need to practice timing those animations but I'm not sure which package it is. I mistimed so many open moving shots today because I have no pre-combine experience using the default animation we're stuck with. If I had access to my trusty normal 13 moving shot I'd be a lot more consistent on my moving middies.

Of all the ways to make 2KL. It's dependent not on your true ability. Nope, it's based on "Let's see how you react to sharing a court with braindead zombies on crack". Yes this will show who the top ballers in the world are. Who doesn't pull out our their hair. Whoever has hair left at the end gets in the 2KL.

My current pet peeve

Guards who stand between the 3pt to halfcourt line when inbounding. Like bro I'm not passing the ball until you get your behind up in this free throw line. Even worse when my man starts to press to stat pad defensive stats and guards don't recognize this.

Also I'm not throwing you the ball on fastbreaks without rebounding(aka Break Starter) in my archetype.

Btw if you use Side Cam, just know you're among the 1% of people in competitive pro-am who use that. EVERYONE GOOD uses 2K cam. Check Twitch. You see the angles better. Yet in 2KL like 50% use broadcast, you can tell based on their idiotic movement and floor spacing.

My biggest gripe as a big and a point is people in a halfcourt possession who just sit at the top of the key before every single play, setting a screen on nothing. Then when the point guard gets close, all hell breaks loose, and everybody thinks they're going to get open. Good defenders can read this easily.

As one of two bigs, it's annoying. I don't have to be the one setting the on-ball pick, but then I have nobody to set an off-ball screen for because they're all up there and I'm in the corner. I can set a screen for someone flaring there but a lot of people just go to the wing or don't acknowledge my existence. People should space the floor more and move according to where the defense goes.

I was in a game where the 2 and the 3 kept setting picks and gave the point guard no lanes to attack which kept slowing down every possession.

I will say if this was a mode where you can enter as a team and you were randomly assigned to a position with a player with a random height weight and archetype this mode would actually be fun

The only thing is the XP gained would have to go towards your actual myplayer. If they did that this mode would be the best mode on 2k

Maybe this mode was a marketing ploy but then again this mode is getting players angry and upset and that's what the managers/devs intended it to be. They want to see who's going to have a cool head even thoigh things don't go their way. I'm looking all over twitter seeing complaints and even hearing people's frustrations in game chat. I believe those people are weeding themselves out

I played 4 games yesterday and had to quit 3. Embarassing, bigs bringing the ball up the court refusing to give it to the pg, rebounding/athletics doing their standard bullying under the ring. Absolutely noone spaces the floor, in half court its a complete mess with people running/cutting around, building the great wall of china at the top, pg's doing their usual dribble spam, zero ball movement. Horrible, just horrible...

Yep. Games are less of the no IQ cheesefests where people just dance behind brick walls and jack up limitless. People are getting exposed. I do think forcing everyone to have "weaker" badges and having lower attributes in general is helping with the balance. Maybe it's because people aren't used to the jumpers, and playing with strangers is a factor, but I don't see an insane amount of 3s going in.

The snatchback is still strong though.

Players are a bit slower in the combine but it doesn't matter because you know other people are just as athletic and don't have higher attributes just because they paid more money/hours.

I was kind of looking forward to playing this again but I'm not sure my blood pressure can deal with randoms screaming in my headset today. Played games with friends last night that were just...enjoyable. Nobody screaming or panicking at everything was a niiiiiice change of pace.
