Glad to see #SIMNATION is still alive. Those were the good days.
The ten teams, ten days had the best intro of all time...

Re: Simnation are y'all still around?
One of the few regreats I have, not playing inside drive ...
Then again, we have come long ways from those times and I think we are only going to get better as devs keep refining and consoles keep engrossing their specs, therefore giving more room for devs to implement their magic.
Game is far from perfect and ther is a ton that can be improved and added to better portrait the NBA experience, on and off the court.Comment

We should never forget the foundation
At the same time don't stop evolving for risk falling off.

Re: Simnation are y'all still around?
I hope one of these goodies is still
"To me this thought makes a ton of sense. When you look at that feature list it can't easily be said that we don't care about defense. But I think it is fair to say our implementation did not meet expectations this year.
Defense will indeed be a high priority for us next year. Even more than this year due to the issues of which you are all well aware.
I will be joining the effort on defense to help bolster that side of the ball for 2k18. Depending on how you feel I guess that can be good or bad .
And while we obviously can't get to everything this late in the year. Hopefully what you see in the upcoming gameplay patch will give you some sliver of hope that we can and will do a much better job on both sides of the ball moving forward as far as AI and that defense is indeed a priority."
I know this was planned for 18 and it didn't happen, hoping it does for 19.
I'm with you on that. The implementation of defense certainly did not meet expectations in 2k18 either. Scott OG obviously needs more help on the defensive end. Hopefully Czar can help work on that end a lot more this year to bring it up to speed with the offense, both from a user and AI perspective.Comment

I never owned an Xbox (PS2 guy during that time), so I missed out on this and the NFL game. Always heard good things about both, though.Currently Playing:

Re: Simnation are y'all still around?
Still playing this game when Im not at work or working on my clothing line business.
I barely play the CPU, I mainly play other sim users still getting beautiful games, dog fights, game winners and chess battles.
But when I do play the CPU I study how they score. Because they play different then humans. The CPU plays like Vince Carter, T Mac, MJ, Kobe, Derozan, KD a whole bunch of leaners/fadeaways, 1 dribble and 2 dribble pulls up, shooting with little to no space. Where as most sim guys try to get the perfect shot, cleanest shot available when in the NBA there is rarely a perfect shot.
These guys are professional shot makers, need little to no space getting them off, contested jumpers etc. I actually implemented that into my game and shoot a whole bunch of learners/fadeaways off the dribble and it works well. Especially since I use alot of early-mid 2000s rosters.Add me om PSN for a good game of basketball!
