Tbh, it depends on how you play. I'm only an 88 right now...with gold defensive stopper, silver rim protector, silver pick pocket, silver rebounder, silver posterizer...

I play a lot of rec center with him so I find it easier to grind online over offline...the CPU even on hof isn't aggressive. You get good progress towards caps but not badges.

Just an update on my 6"11 PF Shot Creating Defender:

When I max out this player's speed, vertical, and shooting... Im going to be a nightmare to deal with lol.

Easy 10-10-3-3-3 a game

Sorry i didnt answer about the post game - its good. Very matchup dependant - youll usually have some kind of advantage so its matter of using it to get the defenae out of position and score. But you wont make many heavily contested shots - and im fine with that.

Pretty much all your cap breakers are gonna go to athleticism until you get to 91. Which is really cool cause you basically get to max out your athleticism early, and then just slowwwly build up the shooting (which is really frustrating, especially on a double bar. I just need 1 more dunk bar to get to 75 and unlock the giannis package and ive been waiting for it since like 88 lol.)

I am determined to get this build to 99 cause i really believe you could single handedly dominate in 5 v 5 without ever really even needing to touch the ball.

But yeah bruh keep this on DL lol we need a codename for it haha

Shelving my slashing post scorer online . I have a lot of fun with him in mycareer but not so much in rec or pro am . Been working on my pure lock 6’8 SG.

Also used the rest of my VC on a 7’ 0 pure stretch 4 lol .

I said screw it and made a point guard.

I noticed if I run rec or park with my shot creator sg I always run point anyway and he's not a great passer..plus doesn't have good pg badges.

I made a 6'4 sharp playmaker...so far it's fun...just gotta grind them shooting badges lol

Also used the rest of my VC on a 7’ 0 pure stretch 4 lol .

Grind Catch and Shoot, Limitless Range, and Pick and Popper to Gold and Deep Range Deadeye to at least Silver.


Don't need to do much else, other than understanding when the defender is likely to aggressively close out on you. In which case you bring out the 2 dribble pull. They have no effect if they're trying to contest you on the side of you, so it registers as wide open.


And, eventually whats going to happen is that the smart players are just going to hug the **** out of you on the permieter. Easiest way to combat that is to pretend to set the ballhandler a screen, and then just slip to the rim/freethrow line.


At that point you either finish if you have an open lane, make the extra pass to the Center once the help steps over, or sling it to the corner for an easy 3, or stop at the mid range and shoot.



If you know what you're doing and your teammates aren't ballhogs/idiots you can't really guard a Pure Stretch.

I've been having fun with it. It honestly gives me something to do because people online don't like to give the ball to people in the post or in the high post.


So if I'm just going to be standing out at the 3 point line to stretch the floor for the entire game anyway.....might as well just make a gotdamn stretch 4.


SMH.


Might make a Pure Lockdown build at SF for a new player. Can't decide between 6'10 (To stop the 7 foot Pure Stretches and Athletic Finishers) or go 6'8 (To stop the 6'5 Pure Sharps and Shot Creators)

You got tired of missing layups over guards, falling down and then your man scoring because your guy takes 10 seconds to get up?


I was missing layups against 6'5 guards yesterday, what idiot made this game so that I have to essentially green a standing layup, while shooters can hit 30 footers without needing to green it.

I made a 6'0 SG sharpshooting playmaker as a "I'm so bored I'll run with this" build

Then realized throughout the prelude my life would be filled with lots of "good shot contests" on shots that will go in anyways

Seems like everyone should have a pure stretch 4 in their backpocket this year lol. Got most of the shooting badges on silver on my 7’0 stretch 4 after a handful of games...such a change of pace from a rim protector.

For people that are 6’11 pure stretch 4’s, are the moving shots really that much better? Kinda regret not going 6’11
