I'm not sure what team to pick? I wanna make little moves in Miami, but I wanna take the Clippers to Seattle then I'm thinking I should rebuild Cleveland but Chicago ain't be to the finals in 21 years?. I like the player DNA too I CAP put him in a nice Draft class I made. who should I pick? y'all

Does anybody else do a fantasy draft? I don't really follow a certain team and have always tended to follow certain players.

I think running my yearly fantasy draft is once of my most exciting events of each year.

I usually do a couple fantasy drafts each year. One with current players and one with legends. It’s always a blast!

I did a fantasy draft MyLeague last year with the Bucks and it was a lot of fun.

Sometimes when I want to mix it up I'll do a fantasy draft just for a single game for fun.

I saved a game in myleague between Bucks and Kings, I had the new Bucks Court, when I restarted the file and came back the old one and I had another uniform

Just started my first MyLeague with some decent sliders that I like for gameplay and the NBA, with a rebuilding squad it's hard to tell if the CPU is over powered or if we just suck!

Started from the offseason with the Sacramento Kings, had visions of making Sactown a Euro hotbed by drafting Luka, but he went first to Atlanta. Traded the 2nd overall down for Philly's 10th pick, Philly drafted a 2k generated guard. I'll chock it up to him being a collegiate player with very high potential that busted/got injured, he's not good enough to be in Philly's rotation so I won't get to see him battle with our 10th pick Michael Porter Jr. We also drafted Lonnie Walker IV later in the first round.

Porter Jr led us to the Summer League title and got MVP. Most of our starters played in the tournament, while it's embarrassing seeing them do anything but blow out fringe NBA talent I like seeing them learn assistant coach Ime Udoka's scheme.

Straight from the horses' mouth "Multiple guys doing multiple things, we like our bigs to be able to pass. Our guards to be able to set picks and guard pick and rolls. So we're doing a little bit of everything with everybody." My plan is for Udoka to take over after he earns the respect of the locker room and Joerger's contract expires.

I had to pay well above market value RFA Clint Capela. Otherwise a quiet offseason, Anthony Tolliver and Raul Neto for the vet minimum, Jose Calderon for training camp, Zhaire Smith on a two way after getting cut as a second rounder.

Collecting assets I made trades with Philly and the Lakers [managed to get our own pick back from PHI], I then flipped Furkan Korkmaz and Bayless to the Bucks for Delly and a future first. Bucks get much needed youth/shooting while riding themselves of three years of Delly's $9m annual salary in exchange for Bayless' expiring contract.

Our lineup is probably

Michael Porter Jr (minutes restriction and won't play back to backs)
Clint Capela

Buddy Hield
Raul Neto
Kosta Koufas

Not much wing depth, Porter Jr will play both forward positions, maybe some center in garbage time. Justin Jackson was fun to play with in the summer league, a bit slow but the guy could do everything except shoot consistently and his defense had lapses. [Sadly when I watched him in the preseason IRL he did not look like an NBA player, for the sake of realism he'll be in the G league instead of our Kyle Anderson.]

Lonnie Walker IV is a project player for me, in the Summer League he locked down Dennis Smith Jr (6-17 from the field) and even switched on to Jaren Jackson Jr for several plays locking him up in the paint. Maybe it's the crazy hair but I just see this kid being a top defender/hustle player and enforcer like Rodman. [Plus if the Spurs drafted him there's a guarantee he'll be better than at least ten players selected before him, right?]

With our three returning guards, Bogdan will be the primary playmaker. Hield will run the show off the bench and finish games while Bogdan sits or slides over to 3, Fox--hopefully fresh from playing off ball and burning defenders in spurts--will be the primary playmaker at the end of games either bursting to the rim off screens or making plays for MPJ and Capela when they roll.

Easier said than done, when you practice with Kings players it's hard to evaluate since the opposing defenders are bench players on a team projected to be the 29th worst in the league. If Bogdan has a 15ppg 5rpg 5apg year (11 3 3 his rookie year) I will be extremely satisfied.

Deng has to set the tone for the pups defensively, despite not playing in years he's our best wing defender by default. Porter Jr I hope will consistently hit contested mid range, his finishing is easy due to being a mismatch everywhere he blocks shots surprisingly well from the weak side. Skal, Tolliver and Giles can sub for him if he's getting bodied in the paint.

Skal's skillset is redundant with MPJ, but that's good if he can be consistent. This is a make it or break it year for him, he as well as Hield will have more value going into this year's trade deadline than if I allow them to go into their contract year without an extension. If they don't step it up hoping one of the G leaguers (Walker, Zhaire, JJ, Giles, Ray Spalding [6'10, 7'5 wingspan]) can make a jump into being playable this or next year.

Currently 6-2 with Golden State in a 14 game, 11 minute quarter, MyLeague, with no injuries or trades. Really enjoying the competition so far playing on a modified version of All-Star. Documenting the journey over in the dynasty section, feel free to take a peek.

Are there any major issues with my league this year? Haven't bought the game yet, but the subreddit is just a toxic mess as usual so I can't tell if the game is actually in a bad state for the only mode I'll actually play.
