Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
Until they fix up G league and Euro stash players progressing at +4-5OVR per season I can't play it. The best players are all Euros and the league is stacked with talent - average OVR of a starter is probably 82 in 2030. Bench players are about 80.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
Right now my league is unplayable after few seasons the game crash when you start a new season or in a random window and later when you try to load your last save from my league the game says the file is corrupt if you had this problem report to 2k to make them fix it

Is everyone else not getting this same error? Any known fix? Any news on a possible patch?Comment

I got the blue screen crash once during the 3 day moritorium period, but that was it. I'm playing summer league now and everything is going smooth so far.Comment

I can't personally. Crashing during FA always occurs and sometimes in the draft.

Also been noticing as early as the third year guys who are practically out the league (Chris McCullough stands out) sitting at an 80 overall.
I love the G league feature and being able to look at the G league stats to try and find that missing piece or somebody to keep the team afloat when there is an injury (a la Briante Weber on the Ws), but I don’t think anyone should progress beyond the low 70s there. Maybe 1 in 30 hit an 80 overall granted they’re in the right system and actually get call ups, a la Danny Green.
As it is today it’s better to send your best prospects down there as opposed to playing them in the NBA, lol I’ve actually seen some strange occurrences in 2k last year of rotation rookies not playing their first few years in the league then coming out of nowhere to win ROTY or All NBA (happened with Jarrett Allen for me).Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
i try to check about g league high progression but i can't see this happen on the leagues I sim I assign my rookies to the g league team and the next season they only improve 1 how do you guys found about the g league progression bug?Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
I’m not sure if it’s a bug or meant to be like this, but generally when I assign a young player to the G league I’ll keep him down there the bulk of the season and he can improve anywhere from like 3 to 8 points overall. How long do you keep your players sent down? I know in 2k18 system played a huge role in how a player progressed, but haven’t seen the same bug from last year where the second you signed a G leaguer who fit your system they progressed to an 80 overall in 19.Comment

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
These bugs are making me a sad man
Might just do a regular season and play every game this year if things aren't fixed soon. I don't want to do that but I do really enjoy the gameplay this year and it wouldn't be a bad alternative. I've actually been itching to do that for a few years now as I haven't done it in over a decade. I usually like to play through multiple seasons simming and just playing important games and possible elimination playoff games.
Edit: If I do end up doing just a regular single season I'm definitely doing some type of fantasy draft and may even include some legendary players. Could definitely be an interesting alternative.Last edited by Gramps91; 10-03-2018, 01:25 PM.NCAA: Kentucky Wildcats

I would worry about the G league players becoming all stars you can always edit stuff to fix that which wouldn't take a ton of time. Its not perfect, but its not like their is no workaround.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

I also haven't experienced the G-League progression issue (yet) but it I did see it last year. With the ability tio import players DNA, then it's never been easier to correct something like this. Just import their DNA from either 2k's or any other roster and bam their back to be rated where they stared. Or if you want to keep it random, then say a players started at 70 and shoots up to 80 but you think he should only be in the 72-75 range. Well, use random.org to determine which rating he should be (72-75), then lower each of his attributes one at a time until he gets there. With Quick editing it only takes a minute or two for each player. Heck, I edited like 90 players in a Draft Class so that they were rated no more than 50 OVR and 50 Potential in half an hour.
I'm not sure how the mentor system even works but if you think a player deserves a badge, then give him a badge and move on.... The Draft Class bug with ages changing and and Years Pro being wrong if you copied a players DNA are both simple fixes. I'm not sure what else there is but my point is although it may not be ideal at least you have the option to correct these things yourself and to me that's better than waiting a month, or two, or three on a patch that may never come.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Other than the some sort of crash or corrupt file (personally, I've never experienced either), then there's hasn't really been anything that I've read that can't be corrected with a little effort.

Re: Official NBA 2k19 MyLeague/MyGM Thread
It all just depends for me... if a couple of players had jumps every now and then I'd love that, but if it's almost every player, not so much.
With that said, I don't know one way or another because a) I haven't tested it in 2K19 (and don't plan on it TBH) and b) even though I saw it some in 2K18 I didn't get far enough into my MyLeague to say that it's a problem.... and like you I actually liked to see some new names in the starting lineups and making a difference across the league. Either way, I'm just thankful that we have the tools (if we so choose) to basically create our own league as we see fit.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Could have just did this on 2k18 and avoided the purchase all togetherComment
