      Thanks for the video Rob and yes i feel exactly the same as things changed for the last 2 or 3 days i believe i started seeing that. We get to see open shots on contests and lightly contests back then it was highly and also i see some more contact layups made and overall this has greatly improved and kinda feel like a better balance inside/outside on our MLO 48mn games which before i would make 80+ and allow 70+ smt now my games are going to 100s and 90s range as far as scores go on HOF which is great.

      It's great that we got it back on. Thanks 2k.

        Consistently scoring under 100 is bad business. Glad we can get back to 105 to 115.

            Please do and let us know,too 24; i believe they have done some kind of a general tuning on both shot contests and also inside the paint contact layup contests etc. they are both seem to have changed.

              Shooting on default hof is not the same as shooting on custom with the exact same shooting sliders. On default hof shooting is better and contests are more realistic. Once you move it to custom it becomes brick city, and the same as shooting pre update. I am about 95 percent sure of this. It takes 60 seconds to verify in freestyle. Anyone know why this would be?

                I'm not convinced yet that the difficulty is tied to what level was set before changing sliders to custom. We heard it from Czar in a YouTube video for 2K18 right?

                I've seen more than once that changing one slider +1/-1 can completely change the rest of the game. I've even seen fouls go from being called to no calls with the same animations after minor slider changes to other areas that should have nothing to do with the foul engine.

                  Not sure if this is a good place to ask since it seems more focused on user played games, but anyone have tips for making CPU vs CPU games play like real basketball? From the perspective of someone who likes to play as GM only for a long time in myleague, I'd like for example the 2028 finals to look like real basketball as much as possible.

                  Sounds like editing all the playbooks is probably the biggest thing I can do? To remove broken plays and maybe fill in any holes (since I need to futureproof the playbooks to work with any roster of generated players). Editing tendencies might be way too time consuming though for every draft class.

                  Lot of things I'm unsure about with CPU vs CPU games though, like I'm assuming they both use the CPU sliders and difficulty setting, even if only one team is user controlled on the myleague level, so that's what I should be adjusting.

                    Wasnt saying sliders dont matter. My only point was shooting on default hof is easier then shooting on custom with the same shooting sliders. In contest grades and open shot success rate.

                        If true then i believe it's a bug for sure, in MLO no matter what i set it turns to custom sliders, i set HOF and go out but it turns custom and if custom is what it is then it should definitely be a bug.

                          Go to freestyle in your mlo and make sure it says default hof and shoot about 30 shots, then move it custom and shoot 30. You will see the difference instantly. Its night and day. What are the 3 pt numbers in your mlo? Are teams shooting south or north of 35 percent from 3?

                              Simnation, do you think this is a design decision or a bug?

                              We know that in defensive settings you can adjust how to defend the pick and roll depending on whether your hedge defender is a 1-4 or a center. So you can set all G/F pnrs to switch; and to drop back when your center is the screen defender.

                              Let's say you use those settings. They work fine. Then the CPU puts a player at center whose natural position is SF. You expect your center to drop back when that guy sets a screen, but the AI registers that screener as SF, despite the fact he's playing at center. So the communication is to 'switch'.

                              I kept wondering why this was happening.I tested this out by playing Memphis. My center dropped back when Gasol set the screen. Then I switched Gasol's natural position to SF (he was still playing center) and I would be called to switch whenever he set the screen.

                              Is this a bug, or a counter to any exploits?

                                I feel like thats a design decision. If im not mistaken, you'd be making those adjustments based on typical personnel on the floor, so I would think that even though he's at C, he'd typically be at SF so naturally you'd want him to do what you would want your SFs to do, no?
