Re: NBA 2k19 - The Little Things Thread
BUT Robert Covington literally gets missed EVERY year.
Do 2K just not know he exists or something?Comment

Re: NBA 2k19 - The Little Things Thread
Previous attempts having players make subtle facial expressions like smiling have resulted in the players face look unnatural, or something out of a nightmare, lol
This year, whatever they have done, its captured pretty much flawlessly....

With communications on
I like how the players will point to another player, if you are controlling the player with the ball, the cpu will point and gesticulate to another player with "mismatch" above their head, like get him the ball fool.
Also, I don't know if it's just me or Visual Concepts put this in to remind you to get into the game. I like how if the other team is going on a run and on the inbounds the point guard will point back at the screen/crowd like C'mon dude. It's funny to see also the shaking of the head, it's like it's for you not the players on the team.Last edited by Impetuous65; 09-10-2018, 11:11 AM.Comment

Re: NBA 2k19 - The Little Things Thread
Someone already mentioned but I’ll +1 the booing if on the road or cheering if at home of the crowd when you go out for shoot around. It’s for sure like that at real games when the visiting team comes out the tunnel onto the court. Also I love how it’s not so clunky during shoot around. The shooting latency has improved there dramatically.
It’s also nice to see your teammates in the locker room now. It was pretty weird how you would walk to the back last year and always be the only one in there unless you were about to see a stupid cutscene with shammy about shoes that just came out.
But for my actual post I’m not sure if this was in the game last year but I just attempted to block a halfcourt shot by Westbrook before the half from behind and I missed the block but my guy landed and fell over on the ground. I’ve never seen that animation. That’s pretty realistic to think to put that in there.Comment

Re: NBA 2k19 - The Little Things Thread
Couple of things that I found weird in China.
1) See first picture. The Bears have players that are clearly American (by name) but have Chinese avatars. Kind of funny.
2) See second picture. Went to triple OT with the NBA Stars, yet the final game scoreboard ticked over to display 4 OT (also, what a game)!
3) The prelude takes place BEFORE/during the 2017-18 season, yet when in China, they talk about Harden winning the MVP, which won't happen for a few months.NBA: Wizards
WNBA: Mystics
NFL: Ravens
MLB: Nationals
Europe: Barcelona
MLS: DC United

Re: NBA 2k19 - The Little Things Thread
I thought the option to opt out from all the 2K announcements and whatnot upon first firing up the game was a nice touch. I'm hoping that means I don't get anymore MyTeam pop-ups and weird VC countdowns in the corner.
