Yeah I noticed this last year too I though it was a glitch until I played them again and it wasn’t lol. The bucks fan sounds like a college basketball game it’s a nice change

I didn’t know there was a thread for this type of thing. I have a bunch of “little details” clips from 2k18 but never made a video now I have to make the video

Trevor Booker hurt his elbow in the first half and subbed out. in the 2nd half the sideline guy said he talked to the head trainer and the injury didn't look too serious. shortly after, Booker checks back in. he nails a corner 3 and instead of celebrating he grabs and holds his elbow while hes running back on defense. later he hits another 3 and this time stretches his arm out while holding it. finally, after the game, while the rest of the team is celebrating Booker can be seen stretching his arm behind his head. the way he reacted to the injury was so realistic. I absolutely love the little details in this game.

This may be closer to a general game impression, but I appreciate the small tweaks they've made to the rim physics this year. It's still a work in progress (and probably always will be) but it feels like I've seen a lot more realistic ball-rim interactions than just about any other time in the series.

2K18 was plagued by an overabundance of soft rolls where the ball would bounce off the rim five to seven times and hang perilously before going in. I'm seeing a lot less of that and a lot more one hitters and long rebound opportunities.

Also, on the topic of rim interactions and rebounds, I love two things about this little interaction:

                      1) Kareem's ability to impose his will upon a smaller defender

                      2) That beautiful back tip

                        Two more things:

                        1) Tim Duncan's shoulders have stretch marks.

                        2) I may have missed this last year, but 2K19's breakaway rims now flex toward the side, as the NBA's began doing a few years ago. Normal breakaway rims typically only flex on one central pivot, toward the front of the rim itself; that's how 2K's had been for years. The NBA's now flex in multiple directions. Tough to notice and pick up in real time but, ummm, it's a little thing so...

In Myleauge, Kevin Harlan acknowledges the player of the week during the game. Cool stuff.

when this game plays good, it plays good

                                All-Time Celtics vs All-Time Spurs

im Bill Russell guarding George Gervin at the 3pt line

i give him enough space to make a move, shoot or drive he tries to shake me a few times then gets me with a lil stepback jumper it was a quick little jab and user control defense i jus knew he got me in that split second sure enough he nails it
