I always play on HOF. My League. I adjust the sliders to give myself a even playing field. Not too much as to over power the CPU. I still get my butt kicked.

The thing I’ve ALWAYS loved about 2K games is that as you change difficulty levels, the sliders change for either side. Makes adjusting really easy.

Just saved an in-progress MyLeague game between my 2-6 Bulls and the 2-6 Pacers using Pro (Custom) with all User sliders adjusted to match the CPU sliders.

Hall of Fame is absolutely no joke this year. I dont know what they did to the AI but the CPU finally goes at you in a smart way. The CPU makes you pay and definitely takes advantage of miss matches.

The CPU moves the ball around. It attacks strategically. Its brutal, on Hall of Fame. Its lovely in my opinion. It's getting closer to playing a actual person.

This is going to be a long season in my league because I feel like every game is going to be a challenge.
Difficulty this year is much, much different from 2k18.
All I play is HOF and I definitely see the deference between previous years in defense.

This is played on HOF custom sliders (lowered to 45 for cpu on shooting sliders).

Generally, playing with PRO should allow my Giannis to have triple double with ease as shooting percentage is high and he's a beast on revounding. I got one in my first game vs the Hornets (no vid).

Yes, at HOF my AI teammates are doing a lot damage for me on the defensive end through crowding the ball handlers and onball steals that lead to easy dunks on the break. Bledsoe is outstanding in this area.

The crowd chanting .... sound like Miami chant in the Bucks arena. Can anyone help me figure out what was the crowd chanting?

Man I can hardly score on HOF this yr. I'll stay away until I get better. Shot timing is punishing, AI doesn't miss a beat on defense and they definitely shoot over 50%. I know when i've met my match. I'll keep it at All Star until further notice lol.

I up my 3pt slider to 65. Dont worry you won't make every 3 but it's to balance it with the CPU, who at 55 the base HOF setting, will make alot.

I turn up the physicality, like the gathers and body up sensitivity . That's my preference.

I turn the pass speed up. The ball moves faster than people in real life.

I turned up the ball handling for me and speed with the ball. Just my preference there. I turned up the ballhandling sores for the CPU too.

Still, on HOF, the CPU is giving me all I can handle and beating my a*ss .

The CPU doesnt play like it used to. Its cerebral. Very cerebral. It's a very intense game on HOF.

I expect a lot of anger after these games. I want that though.

They do things I have never seen the CPU do, like transition 3s and mid range jumpers. Whatever dev hooked this AI, I salute them.

Just bumped up to HOF for mycareer. Yikes. Im on the rockets and we were something like 28-5 before that. Were 2-7 since.

We would of won a couple more of those though if D'antoni didn't insist on playing NeNe 30 mins a game. (Capelas injured). He also cant recognize basic matchup problems, like switching my 6'11 rim protector onto KD and putting melo on dray.

We also run an obscene amount of postups. I had to turn off auto play call because all we run is Melo postups. And Chris Paul refuses to run the PnR - he just ignores the screen and backs his man down from 18 feet. I wonder if the playcalling would be better if Melo wasnt on the floor.

I want to figure it out though because everything else on HOF is awesome. Anyone have any tips for getting Harden/Paul to run more PnR?

Edit: nvm. Figured it out. Lol. This game is so dope.

Anyone feel like it's a bit easier to get by on ball defenders on HOF? I wonder if it was designed that way because the timing window is SUPER tight...

Not at all. Anytime I do get by, if another defender is around then they come over. You are going to get pass some people, sometimes though as you should
