Re: Differences in Difficulty Levels (Da Czar)

I always play Superstar and have found that to be the most balanced and most challenging while forcing me to play smart ball to win, and still have a chance to lose if I dont play well.

I've only played twice so far this year, with the All Time Magic roster. I got destroyed once by the regular Warriors who literally would not miss a shot, and lost to the regular Trail Blazers.

I feel like theres no reason why I should be having *that* kind of difficulty while using an All Time team, so maybe this year does need a drop down in difficulty.

On Hof shooting everyone is cash from everywhere on the court.

If I remember right, on HoF the CPU shooting sliders are all set on 55,combined with the other bonuses the CPU gives, that means they're gonna shoot great pretty much every time unless you play super good defense at all times.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that player movement is also affected by this. The control I have over my players is slightly different on Rookies vs All Star. I find myself on defense not being as precise especially when playing on ball defense when on higher difficulties.

You are correct, the Body Up Sensitivity slider is set differently depending on the difficulty level;this can cause issues with skating or a feeling of being stuck in mud, depending on how high or low it is.

Playing some on all-star right now and it's like 1 000 000 times better than the garbage gamplay of HoF. Problem is that it's too easy for me, especially on defense. The AI just isnt running much against me so far, if any plays at all then just some garbage pick and roll that end up in a contested jumper. Very little movement off-ball. Have I just been getting "lucky"? Or should I try and bump it up to the next level? There is another difficulty between HoF and all-star right? Like superstar or something? Do they run more offense on that or have I just been up against badly running team so far? Ive already given them the edge with sliders but really when the offense is that garbage it doesnt matter what the sliders are...

Yes..for 20 years I've been playing on HOF but with this I'm now playing on superstar and its perfect with a few minor tweaks

I never played on HOF before, and I usually play on Allstar/Superstar...

The problem is, on Allstar, it is a bit easy for me same thing as what you said, but Superstar, the CPU is a little too aggressive, I think I will stick with Superstar tho...and keep testing my ability on that level, if not, I will edit the slider a little bit...

All Star was not fun for me (Switch version, position lock) so I put the game on Pro and set the sliders up like All Star. Maybe try putting the game on Superstar and setting the sliders up like All Star. Can’t hurt...

They have to do something with cpu shooting on default sliders. I have no idea what they are trying to accomplish with guys shooting 80 percent on open shots.

I know ACE is on every level this year but I notice on superstar a guy like melo is super aggressive and will iso you to death.Melo will also bring up the ball more and plays just like Melo,so on all star you will get team ball (pass the ball around) and on superstar you will get ISO chucking melo.I wish they put that part on allstar.
