How many games do you have to wait before requesting another trade from team. They couldn't get trade done. Since they declined it, I simmed another 5-6 games and still can't. I dont want to sim to many games. But I'm done with playing with current team

I play on SS when I'm on my big. More missed shots on either end means more rebounds and put back opportunities. When i play on my guards i play on all star. There's just too many shenanigans from the cpu when you have to actually guard them.

cpu Curry is tough to guard on Pro. Cpu Curry is a nightmare on any other difficulty. It's all how you look at it.

Just got to 81 OVR. I don't like how fast everything progresses in MyCareer. I am 10th All Star Voting for Forwards despite just averaging 12.5 pts, 7.6 rebs, 2.2 blocks, 1.1 steals. I'm at the point where I'm just playing rest of this season just to get to 90 OVR. I have my badges at a comfortable place for me. I just got Rim Protector to Gold and Quick Reflexes to Silver. There isn't a specific badge I want. I could go with Gold Brick Wall and/or Bruiser or go after Silver Catch & Shoot and or Pick & Pop. As far ratings go, I just did the initial max for rebound and Ball Handle. Ever since I got rebound to 70, my rebounding has gotten a lot better. I'm at 73 rebound(75 boxout) and have been getting 11-14 last few games. And even with me having to get my OVR up, there isn't a specific rating I want to boost that'll make my better substantially better. I could boost Steal(74) and Block(70) since they are still relatively cheap. But with Gold Rim Protector and Bronze Pick Pocket, I don't really have an issue getting steals and blocks. I could go for Mid Range so I could start working on Mid Range Deadeye, but Mid Range is so expensive. Over 2200 VC just to go up for 63 to 64. It would take over 10K VC to get to 68 Mid Range. I might start focusing on Stamina. I only got it to 80. Since I play about 32-33 minutes, I need to boost it. Especially since they have me playing 10-12 minutes in the 4th quarter. I would want to get it to 90 before I start working on Mid Range.


I didn't realize that you could request trade for some reason. It has me contemplating requesting a trade. My main reason I chose the Rockets was because of Gold Dimers of Harden and CP3(and HoF PnR Maestro). But this team isn't as I expected. Our bench/depth is terrible. Capela has been injured most of the season and Chriss just got injured. Besides Gordon, our bench is terrible. And Harden and Melo take too many bad shots with there 99 Shot Tendency. CP3 is the only thing I like about this team. We are in 12 or 13th place in West. So, I'm thinking about requesting a trade. The obvious choices could be 76ers and Blazers since they have needs at PF and I could slide into starting spots and be in playoff race. But, I'm considering requesting to Hornets. Only one player 80 and OVR. The main reason I'm considering that team, is that I want to lure Corey Harris and Marcus Young. Kemba is in last year of deal and social Media said he wants to test FA, so hopefully he doesn't resign. I was considering signing with this team in FA and requesting them trade for Young and Harris. But, if I go there now and work towards 90 before season is over and request Young and Harris as FAs and hopefully get them or at least one, I can save trade requests for Role players to put around us. I would be able to put up better stats with Hornets than Rockets simply because only Kemba to worry about. Only issue is that they have one of the lowest interest levels for me. But, I will still try.

Go to the Mavs! I promise you, it's the best system I've played for in years. You would fit right in to a great line up. Think about it, the system was built for Dirk and you're a stretch defender. As long as he's healthy you know DeAndre Jordan is boxing his man and getting boards so you can focus on helping on the perimeter. If every you get a rebound, icon pass it to Doncic for the transition bucket. It's a great team.

You can’t sim games my g. You have to play ten games in this order to request a trade. When u request the trade don’t play the games after, I prefer simming 4 games after that bc if you actually play the games after you’ve already requested the trade, 9 times out of 10 the trade won’t happen. Idk why but from my experiences since 2k16 requesting the trade then simming like 3-4 games after always makes the trade request go thru for some reason. I even had to do this for a friend that went to the spurs but wanted to play for lakers. He requested a trade twice and it kept getting denied and he couldn’t figure out why. Once I told him after he request just sim the games like 3-4 of them and it actually worked lol..so for anyone that’s wondering how to get a trade to go thru quicker just sim the games and as your simming your schedule will reflect the new team you requested. That’s how you also know it went thru. I wonder if this will also work with the trade request for other stars in the league once you unlock the feature to do so. Once I get it I’m gonna test it out to see if works the same as a regular trade request

Go to the Mavs! I promise you, it's the best system I've played for in years. You would fit right in to a great line up. Think about it, the system was built for Dirk and you're a stretch defender. They were my first choice. I should have stuck with it. Just got caught up with 2 Gold Dimers. They barely passed me the ball on catch and shoot situation.
Main reasons I want to go to Hornets is (1) Kemba Walker and lack of stars on team and (2) to plan for 2nd season. With Kemba, I can create a 1-2 punch. They don't have a true 2nd option. So it will allow me to put up good stats. With Kemba most likely leaving, there will be no one over 79 OVR. That way if I can get to 90 before season is up and request players I want to play with. I can have a big 3 on that team.

Ok figured that. I would hate to play 10 more games with this team. But wouldnt want to foul out or shorter quarter because I need as many games as possible. So I will play games and sim out in 3rd quarter if possible

I made a 6'6" 180 Two-Way•Playmaker at PG and signed with the Suns.. gotta say, it's been a great experience!

It's refreshing to be at the 1 and call plays and since you can't modify the freelances it also helps to fit with the one already offered..

I'm only on Pro and 8th on the lineup but the chemistry is there! Shooters for kickouts and Ayton as a rim-stuffer!

I won't be able to outright speedboost with this build but it will be possible with rhythm boosts. Im liking how the build moves - much smoother than my 6'6" Shot•Sharp who has Pro dribbles..

I increased wingspan a couple clicks since I can't speedboost by default and it's a defensive build so I prioritized length.. my Shot•Sharp has reduced arms and he's a sus on D! I basically went for the things I couldn't get out of the Shot•Sharp: Defensive presence, better Athleticism, better Playmaking and better finishing! I believe I'll be able to get Park dunks with this build?

Ill give y'all more updates as I progress him. He's low 60s still right now with my only upgrades being applied to Dribbling and Passing, and Steals and Blocks.

While simming and playing part of games. I just had my best game as a pro. Past 4 games I played 1st half and simmed second. But past game wasn't in foul trouble and was close game. I scored 36pts(career high was 21), 15 rebs, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

Played and simmed 5 games so far. No luck requesting. Looks like I got 5 more to do the same. I tried not fouling out. Still need the MyPoints

I know it’s a pipe dream for 2K19, but I wish the playground was more similar to the ruffles event. In which you can walk into the playground and immediately be matched up.

Waiting for matches to end is just not fun at all. I also hate how a squad can just take your turn even if you waited longer.

Thanks that worked for me. If I had known that It would saved me 9 games that I had to play and sim. First time I just played part of first game then simmed next 5. So now I got traded for Kaminsky and now on Hornets

So now that I'm on Hornets, I can focus on working towards cap breakers. It wasn't a waste playing and simming past 9 games. I still played my normal game was able to go from 50% to 96%. I'm one game away from next Cap Breaker. I'm at 82 OVR. Next cap breaker will most likely have 89 OVR. It won't really even take me that long to get to that. About a week or 2. While doing the play and sim, I still did all the practices and improved badges. I got Brick Wall to Gold, Pick Pocket to Silver, and 2 practices away from maxing Free Throw to Silver. i want to work on getting Bruiser to Gold, Im at 31K points. But I hate that dive man drill. Only 6-7 seconds to set pick and score and ball handler doesn't pass. But you get alot of points in games for bruising plays. So it'll take about 5-7 games to get it to Gold.

My main goal is to stat pad to get alot of MyPoints. After next game, it'll be a max of 89 OVR. It could take one more cap breaker to get to 90. Or it could be 2 cap breakers. I usually don't play whole rookie season, but might end up doing it. I average 14pts, 8 rebs, 2 blocks, 1 steal. There's about 30 plus games left. So hopefully I'll get 2 cap breakers by then. Should put up good stats with this team. They have several players on last year of contract. So I need to get to 90 to request the Free Agents I want. I should make the All star game. Think I was 5th or 6th in Forward votes. I am 2nd in DPOY voting behind Corey Harris. Suprised since stats aren't that great. But others aren't that much better.
This is what really frustrates be about the whole "random"/set cap breakers. I would hate my next cap breaker after upcoming game to be to ratings like Post and Pass when it doesn't help me. I would want a expensive rating that'll help boost my OVR faster. Like I said, next one should get me to 89 OVR cap since last one I stayed at a 88 Cap. But knowing my luck and from last year, It'll take me 2 more cap breakers. I wish it was one. This team won't be a playoff team, so I really have to ball out rest of season to ensure I get 2 cap breakers.

Last year, it made the mode more fun playing GM. I was able to put together a contender without trading for current superstars. If I could get Marcus Young, Corey Harris, and a athletic defensive Center like McGee in FA my starting lineup would be set. Like last year, I would like to have an athletic 3 & D team with size. So early in season I could suggest a 3& D SF for starting lineup, a combo guard, and a versatile defensive backup big. That way we would be able to switch freely on defense and spread floor on offense and take advantage on fast break

I haven’t unlocked that feature just yet but when I do I’m def gonna try it to see if it works or doesn’t. If so I’ll post it for the thread
