Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Thanks, it was something I came up with in my rage for the Celtics. After last night’s loss just give Kyrie away for nothing and be happy to rid yourself of that headache.

Or what about B. Beal for example?
Just to think about it.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Two main teams I'm thinking are Phoenix and Denver. Not exactly sure what Phoenix would give up, but I think the Nuggets could swap Murray for Kyrie. There would have to be other players involved to make the salaries work obviously, but I think it makes sense for both teams.Comment

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
The good thing is his contract isn't ridiculously high, $20.1M this year with a $21.3M option for next season. So here are 5 ideas (I'm not in love with all of them but each one is definitely interesting).
BOS sends: Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris Sr.
CHA sends: Kemba Walker, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
BOS sends: Kyrie Irving, Daniel Theis
UTA sends: Ricky Rubio, Kyle Korver, 2020 1st Round Pick
BOS sends: Kyrie Irving, Daniel Theis
HOU sends: Eric Gordon, P.J. Tucker, 2019 1st Round Pick, 2021 1st Round Pick
BOS sends: Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris Sr, Daniel Theis
MIN sends: Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Tolliver, Tyus Jones, 2019 1st Round Pick
BOS sends: Kyrie Irving, Jonathan Gibson
SA sends: Patty Mills, Rudy Gay, 2019 1st Round Pick, 2021 1st Round PickMy Dynasties

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Going to be tough because trading Kyrie would demand quite a few assets in return because of the player he is, but he's also a one-year rental since he has the player option to decline if he wants to. No one is for certain sure where he wants to end up next season.

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Atlanta wouldn't do that since Porter only has 1 year on his deal and that one is overpaid. If you want to have them take on the bad contract of Plumlee then I would think about that one still I would prefer them to just keep the 8th pick.Retro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Was listening to a Hornets podcast and they suggested Golden State sign-and-trade Cousins to Charlotte for the 12th pick and Batum.
Basically, if Charlotte keeps Kemba how in the world are they going to help him?My Dynasties

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
Lol I didn't say it was a good trade. The podcast suggested Golden State would need bench scoring if more and more players left (KD, Klay, Cousins) and would need to trade for players since they're still in the luxury tax realm. Though I did some further investigation and Golden State can only offer $6.4M (120% of his previous contract).
I did hear a more realistic trade: Batum, Monk, and the 12th pick to Cleveland for Kevin Love. Doesn't help Love's situation of being on a winning team, but him and Kemba would get Charlotte closer to the playoffs that what they have now.My Dynasties

Re: NBA 2K19 - Trade Discussion Thread
I'm in year 2025 fantasy draft cpu vs cpu myleague and I just won the Orlando Magic first ever championship. I play with the trade difficulty slider raised up a lot. In the off season, I traded a 23 year old 88 ovr player I drafted a few years ago (who barely played during the season) for 36 year old Kevin Durant and a 1st and 2nd rounder. I'm a super team now!
My starting SG is an 89 who I traded Demar DeRozan for many years ago when he was just a 70 ovr and I was rebuilding. Hes my favorite player.
One of my favorite guys off the bench is an 82 ovr who I traded marvin bagley for a few years ago. Hes got 99 3 pointer and hall of fame limitless range badge and when this guy drains it from deep it's a thing of beauty, he shoots 1 handed! He's become a fan favorite. Those are probably my best trades so far (assuming I win the championship again, otherwise the Durant trade was a mistake).

Lol that podcast is nuts. Batum’s contract is stupid, and him being labeled ‘bench scoring’ is laughable. Maybe the Batum of 5 years ago. Cousins and KD will leave, Klay will stay.Comment
