LOL well hey I can dream right? lol
Maybe the sim/realistic basketball community is smaller than the casuals, but which one is more important to basketball respect and credibility -- something that does have a trickle down marketing effect. Think about it - NBA Live fell off not because of lack of options, but because GAMEPLAY was/is so unrealistic and didn't feel like basketball. The fall off didn't happen at once, it was gradual from year to year. But the force behind the fall off directly correlated with users losing respect for the gameplay, the company, and the company's ability to produce quality/realistic basketball gameplay. 2K is showing the same colors -- a disregard for the sim community and the elements that made the game great, an ego that's grown too big, and a disbelief that the status quo can ever change. This is how dynasties fall -- by losing their way. Also according to ya'll and the dynamics of business, I guess Mike Wang is just a "yes man" with zero say, so why should we even have faith in his ability to produce quality gameplay at this point?
