There are some examples throughout the thread and by the end, some guys were seeing no 80+ OVR in the FA pool at the end of free agency. I assume that you would still get similar results with those but I can't say with 100% because I haven't personally tested them recently and I'm not sure if a patch changed anything.

Controlling all the teams....changing players positions to sign to lower contracts, etc.

THIS IS **** THE CUSTOMER SHOULDNT HAVE TO DO TO GET A GAME MODE TO RUN CORRECTLY

You only have so many options. 1) Wait on a patch and hope they fix 2) Continue on and just let the players sit in the free agent pool 3) Work around it 4) Quit playing

Hopefully, once I get to the offseason I continue to get the results similar to those on Mamba's thread... but, if not I know which one of those options works best for me.

That's the thing. There are actual bugs in MyLeague that the player can't fix. Mess around with the sliders that they gave you full access to and you won't have this problem.


If you see 38 year old D-Wade asking for 20 million you probably have player fame too high for example. Also you could raise the overall rating for minimum contracts.



Shot Under Basket Tendency glitch and player stats not being calculated properly are big unfixable by the end-user problems. Things like how much players sign for are completely adjustable to your liking.

I see every player asking for too much money thus either sitting in free agency or teams running out of cap space in the offseason

1) Players still asking for too much money
2) Player progression still very high, oversaturation of players in the 80 rated range, not enough in the 90+ range
3) Related to 2, every G-League player blowing up in ratings as well

I'll add another to the list: Not being to sign your own RFAs on their rookie contract to an extension before they hit the market. They are listed in the list of players that are up for an extension, but are marked as ineligible for it.

To anybody wondering if I found a fix for this problem, I decided to just turn off the salary cap altogether. It's tedious, but I've pretty much been playing god during the offseason and deciding where I want all of the important players to go.

As for other complaints I have with MyLeague, these are 2 things I've been saying for years. Players don't average nearly enough free throws per game (although it has gotten better this year, I'm finally seeing players averaging around 7-9 FTA per game), and sim shooting percentages are absurdly high. James Harden is constantly shooting 45%+ from three point range, and Russell Westbrook is usually around the 40% mark as well. If you drop their three point attributes, they won't make **** during actual games. Very annoying.

Badges affect sim stats way too much i have found. Remove all catch and shoot badges and drop deadeye badges to silver at the max. It helps a bit

Your list is a good start.

Elite players always sign extensions before hitting unrestricted free agency. By year 2, free agency is 30-year-olds with 85 and below ratings, and a bunch of RFAs that aren't going anywhere.

Hmmm, didn't see that they were in the list beforehand. I usually sign the guys I'm planning on keeping as soon as they show up in the list. I'll keep my eye out for that in the league I started yesterday.

There is a salary expectations screen in the setup options for myleague.
You can adjust that before even starting your league. I just used it for the first time today.



This should alleviate some of the issues with players asking for too much.
