Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
At least half of my losses are quiting during game because of people like you who take unranked like it's a damn job and the game is boring AF.
Sent from my cp3636a using Operation Sports mobile app
Here's the thing, I'll yell at you IRL too if you play like a crackhead. I'll have the same attitude. When I see idiots on the court and crap for brains as teammates with the same scummy narcissistic attitude (mini-Carmelo's), I'll let you know too. As would plenty of NBA players or real ballers would. You guys are used to be coddled, get offended at 'meanies' like Draymond Green, but I'd rather have those types of players who 'care' than no-nothing casual ballers who probably can't even make a layup IRL. The same zero-competitive bums in videogames are the same bums IRL sports imo. I've played with players like that all my life, and believe me they are the most annoying people to play sports with.
This same attitude/mentality extends to videogames. --- you are ON A VIDEOGAME FORUM BTW -- people who "care" enough about a videogame to make an account, login, and talk about the game. So why are you even doing that for a "videogame"? Go make a 5'7 player, suck it up in JRC, try to lose on purpose, don't keep score, don't track stats etc. 'cause it's "just a videogame".
Some people like to ENJOY themselves playing the game, so they take their TIME spent on it "seriously". Never complain about 2K or 2K players ruining the experience again if ya'll really wanna be consistent.Last edited by Keith01; 03-29-2019, 01:09 AM.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
True but when I see a center without rebounding in its build my eyes light up lol, bbq chicken. I'm getting 15 - 20 rebs on you easy with my pure GC. It all evens out though your build being able to spread floor etc.Comment

Honestly i never get outsnagged by a large margin vs a glass. Position is key. Sure ill lose the battle by a handful of rebs, but my offensive contribution is way larger.

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
Take your own advice and run with 60 OVR randoms with 10% win % every single time just to get in a game fast and "have fun". Let's see how much fun you're having sharing the court with legit crackheads. Maybe you are a crackhead yourself so it's all gravy. The rest of us with IQ and maybe a competitive bone in our body (no matter what the 'competition') see things differently. I don't expect you casuals to understand. I don't take it 'that' seriously, but tell me you love the options of 1) Waiting 20 min because of you bums trash polluting JRC 2) Waiting 20 min forming a squad 3) Running with you bums for the next half hour of mind-numbing virtual "basketball". This wouldn't be so bad without the pay to play 2K model of grinding to compound it. At this point I'm just trying to AVOID you bums now without having to backout 100 times.

Honestly, the game sucks and the culture 'lifestyle' that drives it is terrible (You embody this in your post). I wouldnt give a damn if I ever play 2k again, there are plenty of REAL ESPORTS with actual skill NOT outcomes tied to attributes to take seriously not a game and sport marketed to 14 year olds.
I've played in MPBA and WR seasons and tourneys so I know first mfing hand how comp this game can be....YOU TALKING REC CENTER LIKE IT MATTERS MY GUY.Last edited by dukebeatsuncagainn; 03-29-2019, 09:05 AM.Comment

I've said it countless times man but if you don't care about winning or don't think a game or game mode matters, why play it? You just messing it up for everybody else.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
I haven't played in a couple weeks with work and other engagements, but having said that, I have a hard time following why it's such issue that people want to play other competent players.
If JRC doesn't matter then why play it? Is it really that fun to not play defense, chuck up stupid shots, and take 3 seconds? There's already a game-mode that allows you to do that... MyCareer.Comment

HIS idea is that a certain group of people need to stop playing despite him having a "winning" record. That's BS...people paid for the game, so they have the "right" to play it anyway they want. The problem is NOT the players (per se). It's the matchmaking process that 2K Sports have implemented. Fix the matchmaking and/or the availability of unranked parks then you fix the "problem" that's being presented in this thread.
Ideally, like ranked people will play against each, and people who REALLY suck or want to treat it like a videogame would naturally stick with the unranked parks/lobbies. People who like competition should be able get more "competent" teammates or opponents in the ranked lobbies or with better matchmaking. Right now, everyone (regardless of desire, skills, IQ, etc) are just grouped together to promote the purchase of VC.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 03-29-2019, 02:55 PM.Comment

Here's the thing and Keith01 is really doing a piss poor job of explaining it.

I get that sometimes people just want to goof around;I do it sometimes too when I'm playing with friends.Being matched with someone that wants to horse around when I'm making an effort however, is one of the most frustrating experiences there is.Comment

Re: Stop joining JRC if your record is under 40%
The best is when you join a game, get down ten points within the first couple minutes and EVERYONE on your team quits leaving you to be doubled and tripled every time you touch the ball.
Thanks 2k for your amazing match making. Thanks so much.Comment

I love when people quit so my Point Forward can run the point in peace. I never win but I come close.Comment

Posted my previous response while waiting for a game. Go in and halfway through the 1st, dudes start the 'calling timeouts B.S.' and quit out right after.
