Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

You think so? I mean if next gen consoles are as powerful as said to be, next gen 2k should be leaps ahead of 2k14 in terms of graphics. Better lighting, better player models, better everything i'd assume. After all, it was really only 2k14's lighting and textures that put it ahead of the current 2k's. Current 2k's still have better player models.

I hate to be that guy that every year has to point out how the PC Version always gets it's right!

And how some people see what I'm seeing with the cartoon look of 2k20, 2k19, 2k18. Action figure skin textures.

PC fixes this every year with a simple texture pack. And the faces in 2k19 on PC still look 100x better than those 2k20 images.

Simple roster updates until release of 2k22 on Xbox Scarlett and PS5.

Here are two images from 2k19 PC in comparison to the 2k20 images!

I don’t know what people expect as far as a graphics jump at this point. I think it looks pretty good.

Every year people complain about the game being “copy and paste” and then when the game drops people complain about how they can’t adjust to the new gameplay. Every 2k plays different somehow or another. Obviously I don’t know jack about what 2k20 will have in store but history tells us it should play different anyway and I always look forward to the challenge

Bruh. No one is expecting a major graphical jump at this point. It's the little things we want to see refined and fixed. I don't see what the big deal is. When gameplay comes out, you guys will do the same exact thing; Point out what you like and don't like and comment on what you want to see fixed before the game comes out. Again, it's a screenshot showing off graphics. What else is there to comment about? And sure, gameplay is what makes the game, but what the hell does it matter that a tiny percentage of us focus on the art side? Keep calling it nitpicking or whatever, but we want the game to be as good and polished as it can be; just like the rest of you. Enough of the back and forth and shade being thrown every year. Let's just come together and work on pushing 2K to be as great as possible.

The game modes were so bare compared to now, it’s like they said “let’s just go all out the graphics, screw everything else.”

Co-sign this. Skin textures and lighting were certainly it's strong points though.
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

I caught that, too. I hope they have a lot more of a selection from Puma in 2K20.

I'd rather have them finally give us a true TV style presentation with  real stat screens through your season, and match up comparisons before games of big stars and really hype up big games in the season. That's truly what is missing with 2k the last several years.  /They were really getting close with the music, atmosphere and the retro filters in 2k12, and then it was just abandoned in 2k13.

I definitely think they are releasing 2k21 for next gen next year. They are both slated to release around holiday 2020. So going off current gen, I'm seeing late November release for consoles. I expect to see the major titles to get a remaster for the consoles release. Like current gen, the consoles are going to need a good collection of games at release. So you usually most major titles within a year of console release see a remaster.

But with both consoles preaching backwards combatibiloty, you can see developers just allowing there to be a patch for current gen game so that it updates game for next gen hardware

2k21 will have its own next gen title exactly like 2k14. Which is why this year is more or less an off year for 2k

Other than a brightness tweak there is absolutely no difference between 2k19 and 2K20.

I wonder if 2k's screenshot is from PC or console? Lighting and skin textures are really the weakest parts of 2k graphically. If they can remedy those things that would go a long way to improving the game graphically. Mods on PC easily fix those things though..
