NBA 2K20 Demo Releases on August 21 at 8:00 AM PT, Here Are Some Details

I'd love if we could ever return to the demos where you can take 2 current nba teams with their players and go head to head 5vs5 like a regular season/playoff game. Have no interest in creating players, playing street ball, or any of that. That would give me a much better idea if a new version is worth purchasing or not.

would love it if we get to actually play with NBA teams in the demo that is not 2ku and it's horrible pace of narrator interruptions and intrusions, but who am I kidding mein.... gone are the days an NBA game is actually Focused on .....well the NBA teams section

the MyPlayer and park has taken over a game about NBA basketball, for the first time i tried seriously playing MYplayer in NBA2k19 ....I only got about 2hrs in total and never returned, so am just admitting that those modes are just not for me....

Ronnie announced on his stream yesterday that we'd be getting the first mode info next week. Said it'd be similar to last year which probably means it's the MyLeague/MyGM blog.

I hate that the demo is always too short and playing 2KU gets old very fast.

So you're saying on August 21st we can finally play with our 55 overall high school phenom with 25 speed?

Dude. I'm going to score 70 points on those high school scrubs, on 200 shots. If my player can make it up the court without getting a 10 seconds called on me or the shot clock expiring.

I mean, we've got to keep it realistic. Speed isn't an ability we are given. We can increase our speed from 25 to 99 through hard work... Or lots of money. Just look at Tom Brady run the .40. Incredible. I hope my 2k high school phenom is as fast as Tom Brady.

Only way I'll play 2K20 if I get it for free just like I got 2K19 for free. No way will I pay 2K a cent with their predatory VC system. A 60 ovr starting is laughable.

FWIW, LD2K seemed to be hinting on Twitter that we'll be able to test players out at high overalls in the prelude. Someone asked him why we can't at least get like an 85 overall player for the prelude to see what the builds really play like and he hinted that you can go even higher than an 85.

I feel that since the demo will release on 8/21 that can set up a timeline for Info. I think it can be the following
-MyLeague/GM info next Thursday or Friday(8/2).
-Gameplay (8/9).
-MyCareer(8/16)
-Prelude/Demo(8/21)
-Park/Pro-Am/Neighborhood trailer (8/30).
