Idk why 2k wanna do the most with this MyPlayer thing. I've been playing 2k since 2k7 & never wanted or had interest to play MyPlayer. The demo is for previous gamers & newcomers to test out the product, so given that, it's not a guaranteed purchase when it releases. At least give us the opportunity to play with the current teams.

I dont get why they will not include 1 quarter of the last season NBA Finals like in the old days, or at least 2KU without the stoppage to "give tips"

Second time I’m saying this......

I really hope when I get the demo and turn it on it says......

“We found a facescan from last year, would you like to use it again ?”

I then click yes and avoid the whole face scan process, which was cool
And fun like 3 years ago but now is just a chore.......

I wish the facescan app would let you see your actual scan (rather than pictures) too before you agree to upload.

Definitely agree on that. So many times I wasted a decent scan because I wanted to see if I could get a better one.
But yeah I rather use last year's version if no changes were made to scans

Yeah... there are many ways to enjoy NBA 2k and all of them are legit... diversity is great...

I respect all game modes, even MyTeam (lol) even though the only thing I am interested in is real NBA and 5vs5 gameplay... but I only buy 3 games per year (Xone, Ps4 and PC) so only with my money it would not be possible to mantain this amazing team improving the gameplay every year... I guess...

I am glad that we have this monster of a game even though I am mostly interested in MLO but, you know... if we could only enjoy a little bit of NBA 5vs5 gameplay in the demo (without those continuous coitus interruptus advices... lol) that would be amazing also...

Please 2k.... think also on those old school simheads who doesnt give a damn about my career... or at least, dont call it NBA2K 20 demo... Prelude was ok..... ;-)

Leak page is reporting the D'Angelo Russell is cover star for the My NBA2k20 app.

No release date. But has to come very soon. Might come on next 2 days before Demo

A few things lead me to believe that MyCareer may be separate from MyPlayer.
1. The app isn’t out and it’s usually out by now.
2. The player in career is an actual scan of a real person and not a create a player face. I’ve never seen that in any 2k MyCareer trailers.
3. There was a leaked screenshot of a menu that showed separate sections(?) for MyPlayer files and MyCareer files. This could have been a fake screenshot though.
Maybe after you finish the MyCareer story, you can edit your players face?
So many unanswered questions still. I guess we’ll see tomorrow.
I have to say, after the last two games, I wasn’t excited about this one. I’m no where near as hype as I have been in previous years. Maybe because I always feel let down after the hype so I’m more cautious.
All that said, this game, the changes they’ve made to the MyPlayer creation, MyCareer, and gameplay tweaks looks better than any of the ones that I was so hype for in the past. Hopefully, since I’m not as hyped, I can enjoy this game more than I have lately.
I give 2k and the devs a lot of heat for hyping up things that don’t work like they tell us they will and the many broken things in the game, but they definitely put in work every year.
I just wish the team was bigger, with all the money they make, so one team could start working on the next one as soon as this one is released and one smaller team can monitor and update/patch this one when needed.
Everything I’ve seen looks great and this may be the best acting and story in MyCareer yet.

The app usually comes out a day or 2 before the demo. This might be slightly later than usual, but unless it's not out tomorrow, I wouldn't read into it.

NBA 2K16 was a face scan, but you're right, it hasn't been like that the past few years. Not sure if there's any particular reason why.

I feel like MyCareer and MyPlayer had their own tabs a couple years ago too, maybe the year before the Neighborhood was introduced. You'd edit your player's appearance on the MyPlayer menu and load your career from the MyCareer menu.

for those of you looking for the 2k20 mobile app, i had to go to mynba2k19's page
and then click on '2k, inc'.
Then 'All apps.' and it was there!

Now, time to cut my hair
