Damn I was hoping we could play G-League games and assign G-league coaches in MyLeague. Next year hopefully.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
I was really hoping to see the return of the NBA.com homepage or something equivalent. I hate getting league news through tweets. We need a centralized location for the league.

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
Anyone else misses the option to see how many games did someone play against the cpu in my league online? Kinda like in Madden. Here, a player can quit and quit until he wins against the cpu. Quitting vs cpu should count as a lose, or show how many replays it took to everyone in the league.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
This isn’t a comparison to those games. It’s disappointing because of the plethora of information and added features we’ve gotten the past few years.
No one is dogging myleauge , we all know it’s the best franchise mode experience on the market. This blog is hella disappointing this year.

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
I feel like I should be upset as a myleague guy, but man seeing how a game like Maddens franchise compares to what we have in 2k really just made me appreciate what we already have in myleague a lot more. Never been a fan of MyGM way to much reading and my eyes are already bad enough. But this is basically the end of the current gen so I will give 2k a pass on the small amount of Myleague additions because its still 10x more in depth then any other sports title out right now.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
Nothing spectacular here, but there are a few good common sense changes that make a huge difference for offline MyLeague players.
- "Whenever you’re adjusting sliders or numbers in pretty much any franchise menu, you can hold LT and RT to make scrolling go that much faster."
I've probably wasted a total of 100+ hours of my life in 2K19 holding the stick up/down in player edit menus or contract offers.
- "Now when simming games in MyLEAGUE, you’ll have the option if you want to set one side to win after simming."
Again, wasted a week getting the 2018/19 season playoff standings correct in MyLeague for 2K19. This saves time.
- "More upload slots for Player DNA creations."
Good for the custom roster and draft class community.
- "New Personality Badges for Max Players"
I was hoping for a new 0-100 player motivation attribute to determine large market bias, but this is a good addition even as a badge.
The rest was MyGM focused and good luck to the 2K team if they think they can make that mode easy for a beginner to pick up. If you want to simulate being a GM of a professional sports franchise, then you need to take the time to research and understand the business of the sport. Twitter is full of armchair GM's that don't understand the basics of the NBA's CBA. That mode should never be tailored towards casuals in my opinion.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
Well, I really do hope auto generated classes are improved as I primarily use those.... was really hoping for more accurate player progression as well. Being able to force a winner in MyLeague is cool but I don't know if I'll ever use it to be honest. If accuracy is improved in terms of a realistic league forming in the distant future that's really the primary problem I've had with MyLeague. Every year they add a lot of features and it seems as if some of them don't work properly and my primary want was just eliminating the bugs we had last year but to be honest I'm not sure if that was a focus either.
MyGM did get some love from the looks of it, I've not really played MyGM a lot because in the only year I did I was constantly aggravated about playing time from various players so if that's been dwindled, along with the new features, it does give me a bit more incentive to look into that.NCAA: Kentucky Wildcats
MLB: Atlanta Braves
NBA: San Antonio SpursComment

I hope they fixed stats disappearing from player cards when using custom draft classes in MyLeague. However, the changes for MyLeague is definitely a letdown comparing to previous years.Comment

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
I'm disappointed there wasn't many new features for my league however I'm also relieved they didn't change things up a whole lot because I absolutely love what they already had in place. I always wanted to try that myGM mode, looks like 2k20 will be the perfect time to jump in! I think it's going to be another awesome year of 2K basketball.
One gripe I have that I wanted to share was I dont like how playing games uses up action points, thats just a core part of the experience it shouldnt use up points. Especially as a cpu vs cpu player, where I wont gain any advantage by 'playing' the games instead of simming. Love the new badges and coach cards and stuff though.

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
2K obviously made a typo, putting “myLeague” in the title of a myGM article.
Can’t wait for the full length myLeague article I know they’re going to put out
Kidding...partly, but as a myLeague only guy, 2k spoiled me with the last few myLeague blogs, and this one left me wanting a bit more.
Same here. As a MyLeague only guy, this really leaves a lot to be desired. If the Staff Card means coaching records, then that's something I've been requesting for a couple of years so I'm happy about that. The other stuff sounds decent enough but none of it is really mind blowing like years past.
It sucks but MYGM was due for an upgrade so it looks like that got the majority of the focus this year. MyLeague has been the main focus since like 2K15 so I guess we had to have a year like this sometime. Hopefully, there's at least some nuggets that they didn't include in the blog.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

Re: NBA 2K20 Franchise Mode Developer Blog - MyGM 2.0, MyLEAGUE & More
I just hope they fix the issues with the 99 inside shot tendency, the G-Leaguers jumping up 10+ overall points and the broken mentorship feature... Also the trade and roster building logic too... Doubt it considering how bad it's been for years... I would love not to have to do manual housekeeping to keep things somewhat realistic... Rebuilding teams should not be going after aging vets in the trade market and free agency and contending teams shouldn't be blowing up their teams with stupid trades for draft picks... Also teams should be signing their second round picks to at least 2-way contracts instead of releasing them immediately after drafting them... CPU teams never sign their second rounders... Those are just a couple things off the top of my headComment
