I feel like MyLeague players got absolutely nothing out of this article. Is there going to be a separate article for MyLeague features at some point or is this pretty much it? The only feature from this article that could even apply to MyLeague is the max player thing.

So,still no sign and trades. No info on new rules you can change in the offseason,etc. MyLeague has gotten a lot of love in the past, this article makes it seem like an afterthought, have they finally run out of ideas?

It literally states, in the very first paragraph of the article, that this is a SNEAK PEAK at MyLeague. Does nobody read the entire article before commenting anymore? So quick to outrage and dev insults around here with this game.

Your mlo wish list post is legendary. If the devs read that list and implemented and addressed the issues you outlined alone, we will be in good be in online franchise mode heaven. This looks to strictly be a mygm blog so keep faith as we eagerly anticipate the mlo blog. I'd be shocked if this is all the focused on out of the 3 franchise modes. The title of the blog says it all.. It's simply pertains to mygm only.

And looking at it again, I see your point and I do hope I feel silly if they release another blog focusing on online and MyLeague itself. It is very unclear, but the more I think of it, the more strange it is that the word Online isnt even mentioned. Not even an improved stability and bug fixes line. So I'll reign myself back in and wait to see. *fingers crossed*

But like someone said above me, sorry I forget who it was, we know at some point disappointment is coming as they transition to next gen. (See nba 2k14's non existent roster editing and franchise mode)

It's not unclear. They very clearly state this is a sneak peak at MyLeague. I'm not sure why you guys would expect them to mention MLO when this is, once again, very clearly a MyGM blog with very minimal MyLeague items.

Nah I def think you're misinterpreting it, and its simply a sneak peak of what is to actually be in the game, not a sneak peek of a future blog. There would be no reason to talk about myleague as they did IMO and they've traditionally released all the info together and theres no mention of another blog coming. I hope I'm wrong though because this leads me to believe MLO has been removed.

2k has never given us separate blogs for MyLegaue and MyGM. This is what it is. Dudes might as well accept it.

I expect this is it. I don't expect another blog from this team. They did a year's worth of development work on MyGM in this piece. Last year the big lift was MLO. The year before ML offline got a lot of attention.


If all they do with ML offline this year is clean up draft classes, do these other menu navigation and other tweaks, and hammer out the bugs from last year (like the mentor system and whatnot), it's not great but it's more or less ok I guess for me as an only ML offline user. That is, as long as the game play is not borked and is improving at the expected rate. Also, as long as they don't try to turn ML into some kind of VC casino again.

lets hope they atleast fixed the bugs from MyLeague, and hopefully also the bug with alternate jerseys not working when you designed them.

Funny thing is Czar was doing one of those late night livestreams a few days ago and I mentioned the next-gen games and he said how it was going to be a rough year because they will have to make 2 games.

So, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they've already started working on the next-gen games as well, hence the apparent lack of new additions to MyLeague.

I agree it is going to harder this time around. With 2k14, next gen released a month and half after current gen. So it might have been easier for them to focus primarily on next gen. But this time around there most likely around 2 and half months between release, they still need to put enough development into current gen to hold off until next gen game releases. It should be a rough year of development for essentially 2 games. So we should expect another 2k14 for 2k21, where we will see a graphical and audio upgrade and maybe MyCareer focus, but maybe stripped down modes

Maybe because MyLeague is mentioned multiple times and they essentially bid us adieu in their closing thoughts and hope we enjoy 2k20. If anything it seems more clear that this is it. They essentially laid out that the biggest new feature was MyGM 2.0 but here are some additional MyLeague items. No stay tuned or anything like that. This was presented as this is what the franchise team has produced for us this year.
Again, I'll wait and see before I further express frustration.

So considering some of us see it one way and you and few others see it another way, yes it's unclear lol.

And the reason we'd expect MLo to be mentioned in this blog is because that's how they've done it, even when we were upset that we got a mere paragraph dedicated to MLO, guess what, it was in this blog.

So one last time, yes it's a little unclear, but looks more likely than not that this is it. I do at least expect the bugs that were present the entire 2k19 cycle to be fixed. Hell, I'd be pretty ok if in MLO I could quick edit multiple players without their height switching smh.

This isn’t a comparison to those games. It’s disappointing because of the plethora of information and added features we’ve gotten the past few years.

No one is dogging myleauge , we all know it’s the best franchise mode experience on the market. This blog is hella disappointing this year.

Shouldn't be expecting major improvements when the new generation of consoles are coming out next year... They're saving all of the big improvements and innovations for those consoles... We're firmly at the end of the xbone and PS4 era

Keep telling yourself that.. It will be the same cycle as this generation.. Also the game won't be out for the first year of the new console anyway.

"Sneak peak" is referring to the fact that we won't have the full experience until the game comes out.

They always drop MyGM, MyLeague and MyLeague Online in the same blog.

The blog is mainly MyGM focused because that's where they focused most of their attention this year. ML and MLO got some improvements but not enough to warrant another entire blog.

Does this mean there won't be sliders for trades/free agency when setting up MyGm? No custom rosters?

I don't really get the point of leaderboards or competing against other users.

MyLeague is one of the best aspects of 2K and has been for years. Maybe we're not getting a bunch of details because there's only so much they can improve, or they weren't able to get to certain things in this dev cycle.

I think a lot of members of this community are way too quick to go into "torch and pitchfork" mode because they don't hear exactly what they want to hear.
