The title of the OS post is misleading. This is strictly a mygm blog and not the usual all inclusive myleague and mlo blogs. Looks like the devs will be doing a separate blog for each mode within the overarching franchise modes. Looking forward to the mlo blog most but there are some interesting features in mygm that I hope does and does not translate to mlo. Namely the free agent destination badges. They should keep those badges offline so as to not predetermine fa outcomes based on the badges. The team chemistry and morale system would be a nice addition to mlo that has previously been confined to the offline modes. More DNA features are welcomed as it literally saved my multi season 30 man mlo that went a total of 10 seasons and is still going strong! Lastly.. Why did it take so long to add force winners to offline my league. This was mind boggling when I found it was missing in offline myleague all this time.

Can't wait for the mlo blog. Stabilize the servers, ensure a gltich free offseason and we are good!

Ummm...



So I see that the focus this year was to attract people who have no clue about basketball with a bunch of video gamey additions to MyGM, that's nice.



My expectations were very low this year and I would have been almost satisfied with "improved QA testing and fixed x,y, and z bugs in MLO"... but I can't even tell if there IS a MLO.



The only thing that excited me from this whole blog was being able to force win in sims offline, something Madden has had for years.



This honestly a kind of slap in the face for hardcore MyLeague and MyLeague online users after all the crap we went through during 2k19 which wouldnt even have improved if not for Brian Mazique and JoePat here at OS. I'm extremely disappointed and am already angry about the incoming non basketball related bull**** that will be added to and focused on in the Park/Neighborhood, (as long as dodgeball works jokes will live on I guess. I guess they figured we're all getting into our 30's and older now so we're almost dead **** it.

Your mlo wish list post is legendary. If the devs read that list and implemented and addressed the issues you outlined alone, we will be in good be in online franchise mode heaven. This looks to strictly be a mygm blog so keep faith as we eagerly anticipate the mlo blog. I'd be shocked if this is all the focused on out of the 3 franchise modes. The title of the blog says it all.. It's simply pertains to mygm only.

Your mlo wish list post is legendary. If the devs read that list and implemented and addressed the issues you outlined alone, we will be in good be in online franchise mode heaven. This looks to strictly be a mygm blog so keep faith as we eagerly anticipate the mlo blog. I'd be shocked if this is all the focused on out of the 3 franchise modes. The title of the blog says it all.. It's simply pertains to mygm only.

I just hope they fix the issues with the 99 inside shot tendency, the G-Leaguers jumping up 10+ overall points and the broken mentorship feature... Also the trade and roster building logic too... Doubt it considering how bad it's been for years... I would love not to have to do manual housekeeping to keep things somewhat realistic... Rebuilding teams should not be going after aging vets in the trade market and free agency and contending teams shouldn't be blowing up their teams with stupid trades for draft picks... Also teams should be signing their second round picks to at least 2-way contracts instead of releasing them immediately after drafting them... CPU teams never sign their second rounders... Those are just a couple things off the top of my head

Agreed on all accounts. I've been saying for awhile now that MyLeague could use a year of just cleaning up everything. Obviously, that's not a "sexy" to put in a blog but the things you listed continue to be overlooked year after year.

It doesn't seem logical to continue to add new things when other things haven't been corrected since they were introduced. It would be nice if they fixed those things and just didn't mention it in the blog.

Damn I was hoping we could play G-League games and assign G-league coaches in MyLeague. Next year hopefully.

I was really hoping to see the return of the NBA.com homepage or something equivalent. I hate getting league news through tweets. We need a centralized location for the league.

Would have loved both of these ideas. A lot.

- "More upload slots for Player DNA creations."
Good for the custom roster and draft class community.

- "New Personality Badges for Max Players"
I was hoping for a new 0-100 player motivation attribute to determine large market bias, but this is a good addition even as a badge.

I liked both of these additions.

That was probably about all I could pull from the article that really registered on my interest scale to any degree. I also liked the idea of the improving the historic stats but I didn't quite understand what they meant. Are they saying when you hover over, say, the highest single-game scoring effort of all-time now you'll see a picture of Wilt Chamberlain and not just his name?

Either way, like others have said, 2K's Franchise mode has been so killer for so long that when you see an underwhelming list of improvements you kind of have to check yourself and remember where the mode stands and how much they've done over the years to propel it into orbit. That said, we're always hungry for more, so it can also be tough to see that not too much has been added.

Man, read the comments of that BLOG entry. Dudes in there claiming that 2K won't be changing MyPark/MyPlayer or WHATEVER the name of the mode that people under 35 play where they play Dress Up mode. ( #BarbieTalk ).

Folks ARE jumping to conclusions.

Like everyone is saying, hopefully there is a separate MyLeague blog, because if that's it, I'd be so disappointed. We've been spoiled for years, sure, but there's still so much potential to be added to MyLeague that if this is it, I'd be crushed.
